Fantasos - promo tools question

by Sirius Lin 7 replies
Hi guys,

Fantasos is driving me up the wall at times (especially today!).

I've created a test account, signed up for a membership and auto-assigned that account with the Standard Customer and Affiliate Role as well as an ALL affiliate role.

But when I login as a customer, I can't see any way of accessing my affiliate links.

The promo page template within the package confuses the heck out of me. I want to add some banner ads and solo email ads, as well as provide the customer with just the text affiliate link. But I don't know how to go about editing the promo page template to include all these :O

Oh, and another question - which url should I send my affiliates to for their affiliate login? The standard JVM2 login page, or something else more specific?

Sorry for the barrage of questions, guys, but I'm completely baffled at this stage and it's not even 10.30am yet!

Process for setting up New Product through Fantasos:

    1) IN PACKAGES: Disable "Welcome message to customers who buy this package first time".

    2) IN PACKAGES: Create a "package SPECIFIC template". Customize it's pages to suit product.

    3) IN PACKAGES: Add affiliate program under "Available through affiliate program(s)".

    4) IN PACKAGES: Change promotion window size to 800x600

    5) Parse all pages with affiliate script: <script language="JavaScript" src="http://yoursite.com/FANTASOS_DIR/fantasos_aff.js"></script>

    6) IN COUPON: Disable "E-mail sent to customer to offer a personal discount coupon".

Assign that role permission to access the promo page.

But doesn't the Standard Customer & Affiliate role + an ALL affiliate role (both autoassigned) already do that?

Shouldn't this be in John D's support forum?

            There is no if.

The helpdesk is open on a 24/7 basis and ALL tickets are answered.

As instructed, the helpdesk is to be used for TECHNICAL issues.
If you need general "how-to" help, then you need to use the Forum.

It's taken as given that you have also checked the manuals and
the videos offered inside the support area.

And if you have followed those help funnels and do not get the service
as promised then you can always use the "Turbo Red Button" - details
at the official page of the helpdesk.

Or you can just PM me with the IDs of the tickets you have opened.

Again, there is no if here.
