Writing a Hundred Articles

There is something that I am unclear with article marketing. I am told to write articles everyday as their cumulative effect will pay off in the end. Now if I write 100 articles are they suppose to drive traffic to one website or to 100 different affiliates?

  • Well, I guess that depends on what your business strategy is. But I think that writing 100 articles to one website will be more effective than sending that traffic to 100 different affiliates, granted that you are going the right direction with that one website.

If you are going the wrong direction with the site, then sending the traffic to 100 different affiliates would have reduced the risk of failure.

Ideally if your write 100 articles, they should all be in the same niche, all pointing to the same site.

This will help build traffic to your sites. If you're posting on high traffic sites like, ezinearticles, squidoo, or hubpages the people from there will start visiting your sites.

Some of your articles will get ranked in the search engines, others will be syndicated(people put them on their site with your links).

If you're looking to do 100 articles, just do it.

Sign into ezinearticles everyday and just start writing.

Here's a tip. Write a title, and then just start writing, don't even think about it, just type it...type it fast, and you can do 4-5 articles in an hour. If you need ideas for your titles, take a look on yahoo answers and see what people are asking about.

If you want some free articles, I just came across a warrior for hire there
    http://www.warriorforum.com/warriors...les-hurry.html

They're a brand new service and giving away 10 articles to anyone with over 35 posts in return for a review. I can't say anything about their quality, because I just asked for my review, but 10 articles for free...can't beat that.

It all depends on your overall plan. If you have multiple websites in multiple niches, and you plan to write more than just 100, you can point them at more than one site. Just understand that the more you point at each site, the better.

Thanks Iron but I am writing articles to affiliates on CPA networks and not my sites.

How could you really write much more than 2 or 3 articles about the same site?

    Hi,
Don't write articles about YOUR SITE, but write articles about the topic of your site.

If your site is based around gardening, then write about all things related to gardening. Write about individual plants, when to plant them, how to look after them, or trees, and what trees you can plant in various types of environment, or tools, what their functions are, how best to use them etc.

If you are going to write a ton of articles, you can usually put a minimum of 2 back links to your site. My experience is to direct half your links to your home page, and half your links to the other pages of your site. So if your home page is gardeningtips.com, put 1 link in each article to that page anchored with your main keyword, and anchor all your other links to the rest of your pages:
    gardeningtips.com/plantingflowers
    gardeningtips.com/choosingaspade
    gardeningtips.com/howtopruneabush

If you can do that on a regular basis then you will have a steady stream of backlinks coming in to each of your pages.

If it is just a one page site, fire them all at the home page, but optimise your home page for a variety of keywords.

    Good luck.

      San,

Yeah...that is exactly what I teach. It works like a charm.

I believe in a ton of articles going to one authority blog, deep link and home page.

The authority blog should have a prominent opt-in above the fold on each page and post.

Phew, cheers Rusty. I don't teach, and I don't often comment, just glad that there is at least one person that agrees
