EzineArticles or Warrior Forum?

I have some old articles which could be useful to new Warrior Forum members. Is it fine if I just pasted the old articles in a thread?

Should I rather post the articles on EzineArticles?

Please help me out of here!!

Warriorforum all the way! If they are Internet marketing related the Warriorforum is your target market. Then you can rewrite them, and post them to Ezinearticles, articlesbase.com, and goarticles.com

It is not a good idea to post them on the Warrior Forum. WF is a discussion board, not an article directory and if you repost articles that have been indexed already, WF deletes them.

If you want to post them on WF, you need to pay the $60/yr fee and post them in the article forum.

No ... you cannot. You cannot post an article that has been already posted somewhere. It will get reported and deleted.

As long as they aren't self promotional you could do them here as a thread.

Warrior Forum has an awesome little article directory:

    Warrior Forum Article Directory

You can NOT link back to your site and have a signature and all that other stuff on the regular forum. That is self promotional and will get you in trouble.

You can however do that on the article directory. This is a small subscription to that though. ($60/ year)

I did come across the article directory a few days ago. But right now I'm not looking forward to any investments except domains and web hosting

Why not post in both? If the articles are original, good quality and present useful information then my philosophy is to distribute them far and wide on the internet. Get them wherever you can as long as these articles provide some kind of value to the reader.

Distribute the articles wherever you can and as much as your time and resources permit you.

      Thanks a lot!

But once I publish the article(s) on the Warrior Forum, can I republish the same on EzineArticles and vice-versa?

Yes: You can publish content on as many offline and online places you like, and this would be good if you think those online places will help your business, as long as you own full rights to the content or have been given permission by the content owner to publish or modify or sell the content without any changes or whatever permission you have.

          Well that's great news!

          • Why not publish it on your site first? Afterwards, have it indexed by publishing it here as a thread then linking to your onsite article as the original source - in order to have it indexed quickly - because this forum is quickly indexed by Google? Then, why not publish it wherever you think would help your business by doing this?

Since you seem to think it is relevant information that would benefit new warriors, I'd definitely recommend you post it here first. It doesn't even need to have been written by you, as long as you're giving credit to the original author.

Well most of my articles are of the how-to type or lists, and they are more tutorials than traditional articles.

So I'll try posting a few, in fact two of them have been received well in the past few days.

          Thanks for the tip though.

    Not "in a thread", no.

Pasting in to the "main marketing forum" articles previously published elsewhere isn't allowed. Why would it be? The "forum part" of the forum's not an article directory. They rightly get reported and deleted.

The choice, I think, is between the "Articles" folder here and EZA (and/or other directories).

(Edited to add: LOL, posted at exactly the same time as Suzanne above!).

I see ... well, please excuse the observation that if I were Allen, I'd wonder how I was supposed to promote and sell the "Articles" folder, if people started doing that. Wouldn't you?

Nothing personal, and absolutely no hostility intended at all, but to me it seems a little like buying a take-away dinner and expecting to be allowed to take it into a restaurant and use their table and cutlery to eat it.

But what benefit will you get from it. As I mentioned, you cannot drop your links in the "article". That is self promo and it will be deleted and you will risk being banned if you continue to do it.

If you want to maximize the benefits of posting in the WF, you should just honestly contribute to the discussions and build a reputation.

Suzanne I don't care about ONLY the links. If you read my OP carefully, you can see that my purpose was to post content that could be helpful for new WF members. Such as elementary concepts of SEO, Adsense Revenue Sharing Sites, Micro Freelance sites etc.

Please do not assume that everyone except you is looking for self-promotion ONLY.

Please don't assume that you know what I am assuming. You asked a question and I gave you an answer. Ignore it if you wish, but if you post copy that does not pass copyscape and drop your links in it, it will be deleted. That is an unwritten WF rule.

And what makes you think I'll post link-dripping duplicate copy despite being advised not to?

OK. So are you telling me you are here without any interest in self-promotion? I've been saying repeatedly that dropping links is not my ONLY motive!
For your kind information I've reported more than 5 members, and they have been consequently banned in a week, who were posting useless content just to get links.

I don't know what you will do or won't do. I just answered your question. Period.

Yeah ... I self-promote all the time. I have around 40 WSOs I've paid for. I also paid the $60 for the article forum. I also spent a thousand or so on the WF Banner Ad. I pay for self promotion here. I do not self promote in the discussion threads. I participate in discussions that interest me. Pure and simple.

It's not your answer I despise. It is your attitude. I've been clearly saying that I'll take care not to break the rules. Why do you need to keep repeating that my posts will be deleted and I'll be banned?

Look, I don't really care if you like my attitude or not. Here's two threads already where you dropped your link to your blog in so it's apparent to me that self promotional link dropping is one of your motives.

And please take a look at the no. of infractions you have. Seems you do have an issue with letting things go.
Infractions mean nothing. I got two infractions by some ass monkey because I gave him an infraction for self promoting ... i.e., spam. He was banned for it. They were revenge infractions. Now I don't bother giving out infractions. I just report the posts.

                              OK. Whatever you say.

I simply wish to tell you that I have read your advice on posting content in threads. I will heed it when necessary. You don't need to keep repeating.

I know we both have better things to do than keep arguing here. If you feel one of my posts is in violation you are free to inform me or report it.

I don't hold grudges or hand out revenge infractions. But I won't accept being bossed around either.

Attitude is something the owner needs to be wary of.

Websites don't "have PR". Pages have PR. EZA's own home page may be PR-6, but the pages on which articles submitted are published are PR-0. I'm just saying ...

Exactly. Even on EZA one needs to build up the web page value. Just that it would get indexed faster than a page on your NEW website/blog, rank high on the SERPs and would fetch some traffic as long as the page is up.

Using a wrong algorithm to get a result doesn't mean the result can be called right!

Use PaRameter (free PR checking software) or a similar software to get the PR of each linked webpage just by entering the domain name.

You are mistaken, and Alexa is right.

          No you are mistaken.

Go and have look yourself. Use Google's PR checker.

Out of interest your site in your signature, the Imediazone forum, that name, Imediazone.

It really reminds me of something....

That would be nice, but unfortunately you are mistaken, my friend.

New pages on a "high-PR site" (which usually just means sites with a high-PR homepage) do not automatically and instantly have a high PR themselves. That's why it's called PageRank; it's page-specific - not site-specific.

With a good internal linking structure, PR can be passed around, but it doesn't happen that quickly, it doesn't happen that much, and given the rate at which Google updates the publicly-viewable PR values (i.e. not too often), you wouldn't see it that quickly anyway. And all pages definitely don't share the same PR, either way. Again, it's page-specific.

If whatever tool you're using is reporting all of EZA's pages as having the same PageRank value, then there is a problem with the tool - period. It's most likely looking at EZA's homepage, or you got lucky (unlikely) in inputting article URLs that just happen to have a high-PR, due to someone building backlinks to them.

Hi Indihow: just a little "update": This post, made about an hour ago, may provide some "finality" about the answer to your original question.
