Hi, everyone, please help!

I dont know if this is the right forum for this. So dear moderators, if I am violating any forum rule please move/delete the post I wont mind.
I am a student and a freelancer from Bangladesh working mostly on graphics designing and writing fields. I have just started out and can barely make the both ends meet, but still somehow managed to save some money which i invested (stupid I know, totally on the spur of the moment) in a "very popular" HYIP site starting with the letter 'o' which went down a few days ago, with my money
As soon as I manage to save some more money, I will invest them in internet marketing and maybe will have a better luck this time.
Thing is, I'm totally new in this field and any kind of suggestion you can give me will be appreciated. So if you are promoting any program for a total newcomer or simply have anything to suggest, please let me know...
Thanks for reading!

A word of caution, there are a lot of people that will try and sell you their course and gaurantee you'll be rich in minutes with no work. Sadly thats why a lot of people get into this and why a lot fail.

I always recommend doing Ed Dales "The Challenge". It's free and it teaches you the basics which you do need to know to succeed in this. You can do this in your own time and it's pretty easy going, especially for a beginner.

Obviously joining the War Room's a no brainer and although I've not read this book I trust the person recommending it a great deal. She's very well known and respected here.

Kens advice of getting some hands on experience with your graphics and design skills is also very sound.

Wibble, bark, my old man's a mushroom etc...

Thanks Richard, I really apprecaite it. I have already been burned once so this time I will move with a lot more caution. And I will definately check out The Challenge and the affiliate marketing schoolbook like you have suggested.

You may also want to consider providing services at Fiverr.com. It's not a lot of money, but it's something.

People pay $5 for a service you can provide. You get paid by PayPal. I see a lot of people from India and Pakistan selling services over there, too. You may want to try it.

Read the entire Terms of Service, so you know the proper rules about getting paid and about delivering your service.

Also, look at the most popular gigs and see how they advertise their service and description to attract customers.

There is so much good, free information on this forum that you should put the wallet away and study the forum for awhile until you get an idea of what it is you would like to do. Don't just randomly buy stuff that makes wild promises. You'll just be throwing your money away.

Get an idea of what you'd like to do to make money and then check out courses in that area. In addition, if you are already a freelancer, you should be offering your skills to make money. Quickest way to make money online if you have valuable skills that others need.

Thanks a lot sbucciarel, genietoast and skooja. I will keep these on mind.
I already have a fiverr account and have been earning a steady $100-150 every month from graphics designing and writing. But sometimes I feel that only $4 ( which we get after the deduction of fiverr charge-$1 per gig) for a logo which takes me atleast 2 days to complete is really not fair. So I am exploring my options here.
I must say you guys are really awesome, taking time to reply to my post. Thanks a ton.

I agree with the other postings. You have valuable graphic skills. Just use the skills that you have honed from fiverr.com, and go after higher paying clients. Leverage the client testimonies and skills from your time at fiverr.com to bigger paying gigs such as what you will find here on the WF.

And trust me. If you produce great graphics at a reasonable price (not just cheap!) you will get quality customers.

Just hang in there and use the skills and knowledge you have to create a cash flow for yourself.

    Good luck!

I think I have a solution for you.

You say you do graphic designing. If you have a few logos still unsold, or would like to make a few, you can post them on Freelancer.com's marketplace for FREE and get paid 60% on each sale.

      Logos sell pretty well there.

Won't hurt to try I guess.
