Are you telling them to click the link in the video? Are you displaying the url in the video (sorry can't watch right now)?

If the URL is something short, I'd include it in the video. Something like "visit us at xxxxxxx.com to get your free itunes gift card"

From personal experience, I don't think I've ever clicked a link in a youtube description, but I have typed it in the browser. So there's people out there will probably go directly to the site, but not use the link.

        Worth a shot.

Now that you mention it....I'm kinda curious too.

That song he's using...is it even legal to use in this manner? I'm pretty sure it's copyrighted...and there is a record company or artist that needs to be paid.

I could be wrong, but I don't think 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight' is public domain.

        What rights did you buy?

This is a well-known song by known artists and rights are owned by many people, like the song writer, publisher, the performers and the original record copy.

They never sell rights to "an account" because they get paid a royalty based on the number of times it is played. In this case, there are what are known as "Synchronization Rights" and you can learn about them here. Synchronization Rights FAQ's - Protect and Archive copyrights and intellectual property online

I am not a lawyer, but I have dealt with music rights in the past. With 27 million plays, I'd say this is a royalty time bomb that is going to go off some day.

I bought the rights for $20,000 sorry friend i play my cards right and i have a copy of the rights being sent to me now im asking people to help but for some reason some people dont like other people to successed and try and put them off from making money online now that ant going to work as i know money is made online and for all you newbies dont get put off when people try to put you down as they are only doing this just to put you off and that means less competion for them to deal with and the more money they will make and that money could of been yours.

This is for the real people online who like to help others online and want to make money online now where were we oh yes So back to what this thread was really about im asking for help and can anyone help me out with what cpa offers i can promote and if you have any great titles for them offers that would be helpful thank you for your help everyone.

On the contrary, I wish you every success. I was only talking about rights and did not say you are a bad person.

I'm a real person, making a real living in IM, and I like to give back by helping others. In this case, I'm suggesting anyone using a song that is not specifically "royalty free" may be facing a huge financial liability if they try to cut corners on things like not paying synchronization royalties.

You say, "i have a copy of the rights being sent to me now" so it appears you don't even know what rights you currently have. I don't envy you.

Anytime anyone thinks about paying $20,000 for Intellectual Property (IP) Rights to anything, an IP attorney should be involved.

You're getting completely the wrong end of the stick - no-one has said anything about putting you off or that they have a problem or don't want you to be successful.

Read the posts - none of this is said by anyone and I don't believe it's intended by anyone.

Sorry you taking offense to people trying to help you by making sure you're not exposing yourself to risk, but it's also good for people reading this thread to think about these things too - so don't take the comments as a personal negative attack, they're just aimed at making sure you're not getting yourself in hot water and to make other people appreciate what's involved too.

I'm not sure why you've put such a negative perspective on people's comments but I really think you've misunderstood the intentions.

We all love to see people being successful - and sharing that success here to inspire others.

I just saw your video, and I think it's hilarious. The problem is though, most people have "caught" up with the "free ipod" or "free tv" type of offers, this is just in my experience mixed in with a little common sense. Try something unique or different.. What are some stats? Current conversion %, clicks, etc...?

Your current ad stands out as a blatent unrelated ad and is not really very appealing.

Why don't you change your model a little.

Find people that are advertising on Youtube videos already using Google Adwords and ask them if they want a good deal for ads on your videos?

Try putting an affiliate link in the discription to a youtube video grabber which allows the viewers to download your video from youtube. Theres a couple on clickbank, and the beauty of this product it works with any video, whatever the niche.

Ive done this with a few of my highly viewed videos ( no way near as many as views as you are getting ) and ive seen sales from it. I just wrote an anotation like '' download this video now, or any other video on youtube! Chek link in description! '' it works.

    Hope this helps..

OMG, 1.6 million views/ month now that's HUGE, i would suggest getting affiliated to 2-3 clickbank products and insert the link of each in the description, you will earn as much you never dreamed.

Link straight to the sales page. Browse the clickbank marketplace to find a product that could relate to your video. Or like i said a youtube video converter, theres a couple on clickbank.

Test different products or like adambr mentioned, have multiple products in the description. make sure you have an anotation and write it in a style that will make viewers click on your links.

You could really make a killing of this..hope this helped!

    1. Don't have 3 separate offers in your description. You might think by having 3 different offers you are catering to more people. What will most likely happen is people will not click on any of those offers. Just focus on one offer only.

    2. I clicked through to the CPA pages and they require far too much information. Try and find some offers that only require email submit - not all the information you are currently asking for. There are plenty of these offers out there and they will convert much better.

    3. Try placing a clickable link to your CPA page or affiliate product in the video. Here is a tutorial that will show you how to do this for free. This should definitely increase conversions:
    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...-tutorial.html

    4. Setup Google Analytics if you have not already. You need to know if people are clicking through to your site and if so, how many. If very few people are landing on your site then you know the offer isn't very appealing to most people. If however you are getting a fair amount of people through to your website but none of them are completing the CPA then it means you need to test a different CPA offer that is easier to complete.

      Hmm.

Yeah, I agree with not having the three offers. Obviously the video is cute and attracts people to watch these cartoons, but iPad is not that relevant to a hippo cartoon.

Maybe if you were selling a T-Shirt with Hippo Sings "Lion Sings Tonight", that would probably get you more clicks because it's relevant to the video.

Is the song on iTunes? You can become and iTunes affiliate by joining Linkshare.

For the iPad, you can make your own video about how it works and have a link to your affiliate link.

Can you explain more in detail what kind of cpa offers you're using?

I suspect your offers are turning people off. If are what I think they are, they scream scam from the mountaintops.

You definitley need to find something different....if it were me, I would do some research into the song itself....see what it's about, and go find stuff that matches the subject matter.

One thing is for sure: It's about sleeping. So, what could go along with that?

    -sleep aids
-bedding products (like mattresses for example)

Keep digging into the song itself, and see what else you can find.

No guarantee this will work, but it can't be any worse than what you're already doing.

I don't think this is the audience the song is attracting at all.

Most of these viral videos on Youtube become viral because people share them amongst their friends, via email and the major social networks. This is nothing more than a cute and catchy video - it is not something anyone would be searching for unless they had already been told about it from a friend.

For this reason you cannot really analyze the audience too strongly. Videos like this have a mass appeal because of the very nature in which they are shared. I think a very broad CPA offer is the way to go however as to which cpa offer works the best, you will need to test various ones over the next few weeks. Let each CPA offer run for at least a couple of days and see which one gives the best results.

You could put the CPA link to the offer directly under the video instead of people having to click the down arrow to see it.

Another thing that you might want to try is a clickable link right in the video. I have not tried it yet but I stored this info for future reference.

First off, to get really high clickthrus on your description link the video needs to be planned out before hand, with a call to action in the video, arrow pointing, and a damn good reason to click it.

    HOWEVER ---

What I would do is create another video where you DO do this, and then at the end of your current viral video, link to the 2nd video with a call to action blurb. Make the 2nd one really short and then quickly go into the pitch for clicking on the description link.

You can create several videos to test this out with for different offers and just switch the video you link to from the first.

Only a percentage will move onto that second video, but you'll do a heck of a lot better than hoping your viewers will click on your description from the first.

Does this make sense? Do you know how to create a link to another YouTube video within a video? You can do it at any time. Also, check your viewer stats from the current video so you know the demographics of your audience and can promote an offer that fits the general profile.

Not off the top of my head, BUT you can use this: Home | Quantcast to plug in the homepage URL of CPA/Affiliate offers you're planning to promote and it'll show you whether they're a fit.
