How many niches are YOU working in?

I am thinking about starting work in a second niche (I have been doing IM less than a month), and I was just wondering - how many niches do you seasoned IMers work in at a time?

I think that is a pretty general question because some may make all of their money on just one site one niche. Others could have one site with a lot of different things in it. I like to jump around building many sites with as many different niches I find good keywords for.

That is why I like this business so much, if I was working on just one site I would get bored with it.

I'm in TWELVE at the moment, one thing I would say though is master ONE niche at a time.

And become a prospect/buyer in the niche yourself, then you'll start to understand their mindset, emotions and thought processes.

A lot of newbies make the mistake of jumping into niches they know nothing about, then don't understand why they can't make any sales.

The reality is, if you don't know what you're talking about, people will see through it.

I have a good website that target multiple niche, but also have other sites that are targeting related niche which belong to same big category with different keyword. That way I am still focusing in a same macro niche

I think I'm at seven of my own, but write for other sites too. I've found it helpful to branch into niches that overlap, which allows for cross-promotion an a shared readership.

Hands full with 3 niches here! How deeply you get involved within each niche is a factor. Also, teaching takes a lot of my time and there are only 24 hours in a day.

Run about 30 websites each for 14 niches,
If you want to make serious money here is an idea for you:
1)Find as many easy to take over keywords in the niche your working with - example I find 20.
2)Find domains relating to those keywords, 20x10= around 200 bucks gone so far
3)Find products to sell in the niche, outsource articles, around 5 per domain = 100 articles , good written ones cost around $5 a piece = 500 bucks
    4)Get a subscription to Icontact/Aweber around =300 bucks a year
Thats it really 1000bucks, 20 sites
You'll make that money back hopefully within a month depending on your keywords and articles, you'll get a ton of leads that you can market to, and then repeat the process for the next niche. Keep at it
