Anybody know of one?

Been searching at download.com and Google, but can't seem to find one. I want to rename the header image in my HTML files and hate to have to do it manually

Thanks

  • I use PSPad (It's free) to do them locally then reupload all the changed files using filters in FileZilla and just auto-overright them.

EDIT. On a second thought... now you may learn the advantages of designing with css - define the bg image for your header div in the styleshseet; then you need to edit only 1 file, the stylesheet.

Third thought... If you have the same image in every html file - instead of editing the files, wouldn't be simpler to upload the new image with the same name? Just wondering...

    • It's a purchased template that's why I'm modifying it. And I could just leave the image with the same filename, but I'd like to get the keyword in there.

      Thanks guys

  • Dreamweaver's Find and replace does this quickly, but I also vote for PSPad since you might not have Dreamweaver.

    • I have been puzzled many times before. Dreamweaver find and replace or in cpanel they have a similar feature.
  • I would REALLY advise against this. Especially because many servers don't allow batch based websites.

  • I see. I am not sure if this would help but try out Eclipse. It is a really nice IDE.

    • Arrgghh...my brain is sore, I couldn't get the help files to work with the other program, but somehow got it to work. I guess banging on my computer seemed to do the trick somehow

I'll save it for the next time.

      Thanks
