Clickbank issuing refunds without requests...

Anyone else experience this with clickbank?

They P me off beyond belief sometimes...

A refund issued, without it being requested, and then no communication that a refund had gone through!

I had to find out from the vendor, and then verify through my bank. Of course now I can't access what I bought! Argh!

Maybe their minds are still on holiday or they've turned into a bunch of clowns.

I think they have so many refund requests every day that now and again they'll issue some randomnly. Just unlucky probably.

Hey that's unfair. How did they do it?

Just ask, I think you can get back to them, ask about it, get your money back. It's your right.

From what I understand he has got his money back - that's not the problem. The problem is he never wanted a refund in the first place. They have issued one without him asking and now he cannot access the product he bought?!

I'm not assuming anything here, just looking for potential explanations. Please don't take these as personal comments.

Did you say anything to the merchant that might have prompted them to request that CB issue you a refund?

Have you asked for many refunds through Clickbank in the past?

Was it a recurring billing product? Might be some explanation in that, if so.

Did you access the product from multiple machines/IP addresses?

Nope. Haven't had any communication with the merchant since purchasing this particular product, so wouldn't have thought I've done anything to suggest I would want a refund.

Have you asked for many refunds through Clickbank in the past?

Well most recently (past 30 days) I've bought 3 products from CB, and have returned 1 (it was an upsell of one of the products). Would they have mistakenly requested a refund for the product had I been a buyer who notoriously requests refunds...? lol...that would be weird, but I guess a possible reason if that were the case.

      It's one-time payment.

Did you access the product from multiple machines/IP addresses?

Just the one machine...but it's not that the product has become invalid for any reason other than an apparent refund request, by the looks of it.

Could do. But instead of just working around their inadequacies, why not educate them to help stop this from happening in the future, not just for me but for others too?

Furthermore, just a little worried about being double charged, and other potential banking issues.

I doubt that a single refund would do it, even if you'd only ordered two products through them.

You mention the past 30 days... I don't have a clue how the tracking works and where the thresholds are, but it'd surprise me a lot if they didn't look at longer than 30 days.

That might not be relevant, but it's worth mentioning.
