Hiring Somebody To Migrate Sites to WP

I need to migrate a few old static html sites to WP. What would it cost to hire this out and get it done right? 16 or so sites. Small niche sites.

I don't want to mess up my rankings, but I need to make the move for various reasons.

    In that case you didn't give enough info to get meaningful answers.

    Would the sites keep their present design?

    I.e. do you need a WP theme that looks like the present html site?
    In that case the price can go from $100/site up to $1,000/site - depending on who is answering

        Special theme creation for 16 sites may not be an easy task - unless all the sites are currently mapped out the same way.

        A single theme can cost anywhere from 5 bucks (for a canned one) to 500 bucks.

        If you want some placement of things all pretty much the same on them all, then it can be a matter of some font updates and swapping of some banners.

        Not knowing your overall intentions, it is really difficult to toss anything out price wise.

        You may want to just have the designers give you estimates on the job.

          All 16 sites have the same template, so that will help. I actually work with several good designer/developers on a semi consistent basis. But, I like to get multiple opinions from diverse sources before I proceed with certain things. Thanks for the advice. Much appreciated.

            Hmm... Just thinking out loud here! Maintaining your current position in the SERPs is a key requirement. To do this, you'd want to be sure to retain the same page names. I wonder if changing the internal linking structure might also have a significant effect...

            If all sites have the same template and need only some small color changes and that stuff and setting up some plugins... I can do it for as about 40$ per site
