What Can I Offer In A JV?

I'm fairly new here, and just had a couple of quick questions.
I'm currently in the process of backlinking and driving traffic to my site, which i'm using to build a list.
Anyway, I wanted to get involved in a JV, so I could have someone with a list in the same niche, to send people to my site, giving me a good head start in things.
The problem is, I don't really have anything to offer anyone at the moment. So I come to ask, what can I offer? and is there anyway I can have this service done for me in an ethical way? I understand this is unlikely as people don't tend to just give away services like that, but I thought it's worth asking.
I'm in the food/cooking niche if that helps.
