Need Suggestions for Shopping Cart and something other than PayPal

I am setting up my PLR website. I already have quite of few really great articles for the site. I am doing the site in WordPress. Now comes my dillema. I need a shopping cart and I don't want to use PayPal. I have read too many stories about how money has disappeared out of accounts. In fact my friend is still fighting PayPal to get money back that was in her account for a sale of two items she sold. One day it was there and the next it wasn't. You can read online about the many problems people are having with PayPal. I am looking at Authorize Net but still not sure.

For a shopping cart I have looked at Download Guard and even though it provides integration with Word Press and some excellent features, I don't like the overall look of the cart. I was wondering if anyone used something else. (Sorry, don't mean to insult. It is just a matter of taste)

So, (finally), in a nutshell, I would like everyone's suggestion for a shopping cart that integrates with WP and something to use for payments other than PayPal.

Thanks,
Joan

Would you happen to know if Shoppress supports sending confirmation pages and instant digital downloads. I went online to their site and it is not clear.
      Thanks,
