Where to sell a One of a kind Unique Business earning $2500 per month Due to financial problems

Hello,

Due to recent financial problems we are having to sell our assets, now we know the usual flippa, warrior forum complete website for sale section but the site in question is a real unique business.

We have been quoted $10k just on the domain name alone by domainers via a domain forum, we have also recently spent over $5000 on a new complete design on the site.

We have over 9k twitter followers and 900 on facebook that has liked our fan page which is also completely designed.

We have recently overstrecthed and now face financial problems to the tax man unless this asset is sold.

This website offers a unique product to every list builder/internet marketeer, and this can easily be planned or created into a $50k-$100k per month business as it's a membership website.

It's currently page rank 3 and has some 1st page rankings, and currently is earning $2500 with a few emails and solo ad spots.

We know that the price could easily fetch double the years income due to the uniquness of the business.

What we did have planned was to turn this into a clickbank product membership and use the sheer power of clickbank affiliates to mass scale promote the business as this appeals to everyone in the internet marketing niche.

The only problem we are facing is our traffic stats are not there to be able to show to potentiol buyers due to moving the site twice recently to new dedicated servers, so we think this cause a massive problem with actually selling the site, we do hold the stats within the control panel for earnings and members involved.

We are looking for a little advice to go about on where to sell this massive opputtunity? Any pointers would be very helpfull in this problem we currently have.

The site is currently in our signature

This not a advertisement or a way of attracting visitors we are in need of advice where to sell our most prestegious asset.

I've checked your website and it is really an interesting concept you have there. I can definitelly see how this could easily spread in the Internet marketing community like wildfire, but unfortunatelly I can't tell you where and how to get the buyer for this.

I would be interested if I had the money to buy it, but at the moment I am still not earning enough to make this big acquisition.

    Good luck

Thank you for your comment davor, yes this has come at a real shame for us, as we have put some real hard work into the design, concept and idea of what marketing method was going to put into place.

But we have fell short of the taxman and currently risk losing our company to liquidation, which forces us to sell our prized asset.

        Hi there
looking at the site and the concept I could see this taking off if promoted in the right way.
Re Seling the site, maybe there is another option.
The key question is how much do you need to pay off the taxman?
Rather than seling the entire site why not look for an investor or group of investors and sell part of the company for the amount you owe the taxman. The invsetor gets part of a profitable compnay and depending on who the investor is you should get valuable business development input.
Dont rush to sell your prize asset. Look for an investor/partner. In the long run you will get more benefit from this.

If you do need to sell in a hurry the only true value of the business is the actual revenue it generates now multipiled by an arbitaury factor of yaerly earnings and the domain name value. Buyers will not pay based on projected figures.

          Hello Harry,

This is something we have been looking at "investors" but have fell flat on our face. We are currently needing $13k to pay off the taxman and starve him off until the next tax that will be needing to be paid.

We have tried our best to stop from having to sell this asset but due to our current financial problems it's a must or risk losing the the company altogether.

          Thank you for your input.

It's a long shot - BUT how about offering the WF members a share in the business over 3 yrs to get you out of hot water (like $100 each or something) ... I would be willing to invest ! of course I ain't done the maths but enough of us here to bail you out I'm sure

            Good luck

              Hello,

That is a very interesting idea and very plausable but as Tim mentioned above, we are slightly new to the community so currently have no real established connection with the warrior forum and that would be a risk on your part.
Obviously with correct legal papers, it can be done but it's an idea and an idea that has potentiol has given me a little thought to look into.

This is not a plea for help as much, it's more of finding advice on where to find a buyer or an investor as the above poster has mentioned.

It's come to a time where it now seems to be a loss to us and a potentiol gain to another.

Interesting, the concept of the seal of approval, is a good one, Good house keeping Magazine started this concept many years, ago, probably before most of this forum was even born, but it is a good concept, two things that sort of glare out there, one is that the financial aspect, if accurate, you would want to hire a manager, and collect a portion of the proceeds to satisfy what ever needs you may have, considering the quoted levels of current finances available, otherwise, from the stand point of an investor, it looks like the classic grift,

No offense, but if you consider all the variables, and the facts, traffic ect, it creates more questions than answers, the second issue is one of reputation, here at the warrior forum most of the most respected warrior develop a reputation, by participation, by adding value, by being a warrior, that takes time and effort, you may find it difficult to develop the needed trust and experience here before making a large sale, it is something that exists for a reason.

Still you will find people who are adept at helping and that is what has made the warrior forum such a great place.

      Hello Tim,

No offense taken, obviously we can provide recent traffic details and have all the past receipts and statements from developers and programmers that transferred the site and the site design plus the site currently receiving steadily traffic.

We hadn't planned to sell this therefore we moved recently to a new dedicated server and not keeping the traffic stats intact, this was and still can be a long term venture but obviously due to unforseen circumstances we have to find a suitable investment/sale.

At the minute this is a shock sale that we have been forced to make otherwise HMRC (Uk tax office) will be able to claim all assets of the company if put into liquidation.

[EDIT after tim edited his comment : We respect that we are new to the community, and yes this would be a big sale, Obviously with a sale this big, contracts from our accountant and legal solicitors would be drawn up in our Company name if a buyer was found.
