Articles Marketing advise needed

Hi all

I hired someone to write me some high quality articles, and they are great. Now this have been submitted to the top article directories.

Can someone tell me what my next steps need to be to use this articles for traffic?

What I mean or plan to do is maybe make some video's of them, or if someone can help me and explain how to make power point presentations that would also be great

Basically what I need is a few steps to follow with this articles, before placing another order, then rinse and repeat.

Thanks
Werna

EzineArticles.com / Articlebase.com are where you want to go and submit your articles if you have 100% unique 800+ word contributions. In the resource box, or author profile you can include (2) links.

Also, you can do a mass article submission using software like AMR (Article Marketing Robot) and UAQ (UniqueArticleWizard) which will cost you a little $ — but well worth it if it's a rinse and repeat system your after.

Why do you say "100% unique"? Articles submitted to either of these directories do not have to be unique, just original, which of course is not the same thing. They need to be original to you - that is, you wrote them.

You should always publish an article on your own blog or web site first, before submitting to any article directory. The directories, of course, would like to receive "100% unique" articles, but they certainly do not state it as a condition of publication.

Be sure to post those articles to your site before you give them away to the article directories. There's no point in providing free, exclusive content to sites you don't own.

I hope you posted those articles on your own blog / site first. As for high quality many have a difference of opinion on what high quality is. Your articles should include proper spelling and grammar, semantically related words, and read at a proper grade level that corresponds to your niche, according the Flesch-Kincaid readability test.

You can take your articles and transform them into PDF and post them on scribd.com assuming they are NOT sales pitchy in any way. If you do not have a PDF creator you can always search download.com for a free a one.

You can take your articles and post the top half (a few paragraphs) to social media sites such as livejournal.com and multiply.com and other social media websites. Add a read more link and link to your article that is on your site / blog (using your keywords as the anchor text).

Videos I personally use Camtasia and I also use Keynote which is an iWork app for Macintosh computers. I am sure there is something similar to keynote on download.com that will work if you own windows.

This is just the basics, you can find a full free article marketing plan in my sig which also explains exactly what the panda update is.

Try to drive traffic to your articles. Build links to it just like you would for your website.

I've found that youtube videos also bring a lot of traffic. I suggest you play around with Camtasia studio, it's really easy to use and there are lots of tutorials on their official website.

Always publish an article to your own site first. Then to get the most out of it do this:

    1. rewrite it slightly and submit it to Directories. Probably the most effective way to do this is through submityourarticle.com but there is a monthly charge for this. If you prefer to do it yourself there are plenty of submission software packages around including paid and free ones.

    2. Create a video of your article. You can do this yourself with Camtasia or Camstudio (which is free) and then submit your video to video directories. An easier way is to use Article Video Robot but there's a monthly charge for that.

3.Create a Press Release of your article.

Quality content is the most important thing to drive traffic.

    Here's what you do:

    1. No matter what, publish the article on your website FIRST. If you didn't do that this time, don't stress about it, just move on.

    2. Publish the article to EZA and a couple other article directories if you want.

Now, listen to this because it's important - Please understand that when you submit an article to an article directory, you are NOT trying to get traffic from the directory to your website... You ARE trying to get traffic from webmasters who see your article on the directory (webmasters are who the directories are built for originally), who then republish your article on their own website.

    3. Paste a couple sentences from your article into Google once a week (using "quotes around your search") or so and see if anyone's republished your article.

    4. When you see someone that has republished your article from the article directory on their own blog or website, then you can contact them and offer content that's not submitted to EZA for extra authority/traffic from their site, plus the possible beginning of a trusting relationship/JV!

    5. If you're not satisfied with how your article has been published, then you can always search Google for niche-related ezines and blogs that accept guest posts.

Hope that helps. If I've erred somewhere in there I hope someone corrects me...I'm not bothering to proofread this post =/

This is not true for ALL article directories, some will actually build up your article with link juice that actually flows right to your site thus increasing the rankings of your website.

Yeah spread more of that advice on how NOT to do article marketing. The OP wants to know how to do real article marketing and not some lame mass submission to useless content farms and dead blogs loaded with ads.

You'll never win. No matter how often you say it, there will always be someone repeating the same old mantra - like the post immediately after yours, for example.

Yeah I know John it seems like a losing battle. I have been teaching people about article marketing for 4+ years and how to do it properly. They never listen because they are already ruined by those so called experts.

Even after the panda update it seems to have got worse because now many think Google targeted article marketing and that is 100% false.

    Hi

    You can do the following

1.Write high quality articles and submit to directories such as Ezine,Go Articles and Article Base which actually drive traffic

2.Submit to hundreds of article directories manually or outsource them or use a software for doing this

    3.Create Squidoo,Hubpages,Tumblr,Wordpress pages

4.Submit to Public blog Networks such as Build My Rank,Linkvana,My Article Ranks and many others

    5.Submit to Unique Article Wizard

6.Submit to Private blog Networks (being advertised by many members here and on other forums too)

7.Create a blog on your main website and keep on updating it by adding fresh content

    I hope this helps

    Good Luck buddy

    thanks

if you're looking to create a Powerpoint presentation of your articles, use Camtasia, which has an excellent Powerpoint plugin that makes it really easy. If you don't have Camtasia, you may want to try a free app such as Cam Studio, but I can't vouch for how well that works.

As for traffic, the idea is to drive traffic to your site(s) via the links allowed in your resource box, which needs to be enticing enough to make people want to click through to your site. Webmasters re-publishing your articles is a great bonus, but can't ne relied on, as your articles have to meet the standards they require.

    Best of luck to you,
    Ray

If you're using the articles just to market your site and/or product, submit to the following article directories:
    ezinearticles.com
    articlesbase.com
    goarticles.com
    helium.com

    Besides, some web2.0 sites like
    hubpages.com
    squidoo.com
are extremely helpful in terms of SEO as well as getting traffic.

    Good luck!

That is not true. Articles submitted to EzineArticles do not have to be unique. They clearly state that in their ToS. The articles should be original, but that is not the same thing. It means they must be original to you.

You should always publish your original articles on your own blog or site first, before submitting them to EzineArticles, or any other directory. Don't give the directories the indexation rights - keep that to yourself.

      This isn't right at all.

Very few serious article marketers would submit unique content to an article directory: that would make no sense at all, from the author's perspective. Article directories do not require previously unpublished content.

Yes, but the benefit of doing so is very, very tiny indeed. (And you can't make it any better by spinning/editing/changing/amending them).

What matters is to understand what an article directory is, and why you're using it, and what your expectations are from it. Without understanding this, it's impossible to know what you're doing, really.

Start by publishing them on your own blog and then create an account on ezinearticles.com and on a couple of high PR article directories. Just keep one thing in mind that you should follow their guideline.
