Would You Help Me Understand These KW numbers?

Here's the numbers from different tools for number of searches per month:
SEOBook: 150
SEMRush: 1175
Google Adwords: 6600 - exact match AND phrase, broad is 8100

Why such a large span between the tools and who am I to believe?

I also find it somewhat strange that the exact and phrase match exactly month to month for the previous year except for 2 months and then it only varies by a small amount. Is that fairly normal for many keywords?

If CPC is low, would that be an indication that Google's numbers are exaggerated?

I faintly remember reading something about checking the percentage difference between the exact and phrase numbers, does anyone know why?

    I would look at these tools as a basis for comparison, but nothing will beat your real world experience, at least at this point. These tools get data from different sources. I would figure google has the most data by far, but they aren't going to share the good stuff with everyone.

      Not sure about SEMRush, but the SEOBook is daily while Google is showing the monthly averages, plus I imagine PPC and software queries. They now both go back 12 months and what you're seeing is the average (they use different searchegine databases to compile the info, you might also want to keep in mind the trends/insights (because it is an just an average).

    I'm kinda thinking out loud here, but is it possible those numbers could indicate an almost zero conversion since the CPC is so low? This isn't a "how to" phrase or I could understand that, but it's a physical product.

    Seobook is daily, no tool is accurate, some keywords are closer to reality than others in the tools.

    CPC isn't accurate either, go type in that keyword and see how many ads there are to get a better idea of competition/CPC.

    Try not rely toooo much on keyword tool numbers, use them as a guideline, some keywords say NO DATA and get 1000s of searches a month.

    Verified by cross checking AdWords keyword tool vs real exact match kewords with no negative keywords over multiple months.

    The Google keyword tool has got a lot more accurate recently though.

    Google is the most reliable source for me to check hits, one of my keywords get's 10k hits each day this month, and the average of that keyword is 210k. I'm getting 10% of the 10K hits each day because I'm ranked #7 for that specific keyword (My website is will only show up if you scroll down and will not be seen when people hit enter right away)
