facebook guitar page with 613,000 fans

I have a facebook fan page which at the moment has blocked publishing rights. I've tried to contact facebook, but they are a little difficult to get a hold of. I can still change things on it, but I can not make a post where it will go to all of the fans. However, it has a lot of natural traffic to it everyday. I can still post to the wall by using an rss feed. I'm thinking of going a totally different direction and I am thinking of just selling it.

Does anyone know where one can sell a facebook page?

    it sounds like you made the page too generic, and did not
    really brand it in any way as being 'you'. it is (deep) in
    Facebook's terms that they can and will take away personal
    pages that they feel should be 'community' pages.

    like if somelike Steve Vai had
    "Steve Vai - Guitar in the Ether" Facebook would never mess
    with it, as the page depends on him AND guitars.

    this is why I only deal with pages that are a business, a website,
    or a product of mine or a friends.

    never make a page for a product that you like either, as
    Facebook will hand ownership over as soon as brand-x makes
    the request!

    a good example is the 'Coke-a-Cola' page on Facebook. Coke
    watched it for a while and when it took off? stepped in and
    had ownership/control turned over. (no money btw)

    selling a facebook page? no idea, though if I were to base it on
    what happened with the 'Coke' page? I am not sure Facebook
    would be too hot on the idea. after all the resources are free!
    it would be interesting to know for sure.

    what you can do is charge to create and maintain pages for
    people.

      You can sell the pages. If you sell a website and there is a fanpage for that website, why would facebook object?. Haven't you noticed that facebook now allows the original admin to be removed?

      Show me where it says you can't.

      Let's say coca cola sold the coca cola business, are you that they can't sell the page that they paid advertising for along with the coca cola website?
