I have an offline client hired me for reputation management. He's got some ugly comments on a website he needs pushed back the third page. My thinking is to post articles about him to web 2.0 sites and article submission sites then run link campaigns to those sites, eventually overwhelming the ugly posts that he wants removed.
Reputation Management strategy for a client

I have an offline client hired me for reputation management. He's got some ugly comments on a website he needs pushed back the third page.
My thinking is to post articles about him to web 2.0 sites and article submission sites then run link campaigns to those sites, eventually overwhelming the ugly posts that he wants removed.
I can also use social networking sites like linkedin and facebook and drive those to the tops of the SERPs as well.
Any thoughts or advice on this strategy?
