Ad swapping advice - where to find people with similar lists

From what I've read and heard from people doing well online, a key way to building lists is doing JV's and ad swaps.

I currently have a 1200 list in the personal development niche and I'm looking to grow it by doing ad swaps/cross promotions.

But where can I find people who are interested in this?
Any advice/experience would be appreciated!

you can of course try the JV section of this forum.

You can go to ezine, check out your niche section of that site, and see who is sending traffic to their opt in pages. This way, you know that those people are building the list, and you can approach them directly.
