I'm in a bit of a dilemma and I would like some feedback from other marketers. I have a ghostwriting business with a shopping cart that accepts Paypal as the payment method. I personally would love to dump Paypal as they are becoming famous for freezing accounts without warning and I would like to avoid this if at all possible. I have a little experience with this personally as they froze my account when I sold an item on ebay last year and the buyer never left feedback. I had the UPS tracking code to prove that I had shipped the item but I had to argue with them to finally release the funds. The more research I do on this issue the more I'm finding that this is a big problem with Paypal and I would prefer not to have to deal with this sort of aggravation. I was looking into 2checkout as they accept paypal as a payment method but they are a bit on the pricy side. I would hate to lose some of my clients because they can't pay through paypal. Any thoughts or insight you guys could provide on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks!!

I know 2checkout are more pricey than Paypal but it is worth it in my opinion. I changed over to 2co a few months back and love it. My customers still pay through Paypal and I don't have to worry about Paypal freezing my account.

I have increased my prices slightly to make up for the higher fees, but I think I wasn't charging enough before anyway

Thanks, I really appreciate that, I'm seriously considering it when I can get the money scraped together. I hate Paypal and getting them out of my back pocket would be great.....
