Fiverr ranking, how do I move up?

Hi guys, I have an article gig on fiverr. I put it up about 3 weeks ago, and got a gig after 2 days, which was cool.... and then, nothing, nada. I even got positive feedback, with a good review.

When I do a search for "article" my gig doesn't feature in the first 7 pages, I gave up after that... maybe I'm page 8?

Anyway, how do you move up the rankings on fiverr? I've put in all the relevant metta tags I can think of.... any ideas?

A friend suggested putting up a video, which I will get round to soon, could this help ranking? I mean, if they can't find your gig in the first place.....

Oh, one more thing, can I add a link to my fiverr gig to my sig? As I'm new to this, I can see my sig changing a bit over the next while.

Cheers

Give your gig many backlinks from all blogs and social media accounts you have to attract more traffic. In case you do not know after having several good feedbacks on that gig, you can submit your gig to be featured (it's free). If it is accepted then you'll get way much more traffic since It will be featured on the front page. Good Luck!

    • Look into scoring on keywords, not just the front page.

Can you elaborate? Keywords where? I've used all the keywords I can in the gig description.

Oh, mods, I've put this in my sig, I'm not sure if this is allowed, if not, I apologize and will remove.

To have your gig featured, you have to contact Fiverr. They will select you if they want. Also, next time, start your own thread. It's not polite to hijack threads.

As for the OP, you really need to look into how you can make your gig stand out when compared to other gigs. If everybody else is offering 2 articles, you offer 5, so that you can make money and get lots of good feedback. You should also do what the other posters said RE: SEO.

In the case of my gig, I made sure to use highly searched keywords in the title, used a lot of tags (look at the tags your highly ranked competition is using), and in the meantime, actively post in several forums. I think rating is a factor, so if you can get a lot of referral business from forums like this one and build up a solid rating, the exposure will probably follow.

Get your friends and family to buy your gig then leave false positive feedback. Give them the 5 dollars then profit?
