Has Anyone Followed a Course Thru And Made Any Money From It?

Hello everyone

I have seen all the courses on this site and even bought many of them.

The thing is that every week there is new course and I just wanted to share a few ideas here on the WF as you cannot study all these courses.I know half are rehashed and do not work. There are some though that work and I wanted to know if anyone has had any success from the courses, software etc being sold on Clickbank. So if you completed a course and and took action and more importantly saw monetary results please share.

In my opinion i think a good way to make money is to build niche blogs that are easy to rank in Google on page one and the keyword is like a buying keyword like "make money" for example (i am just using an example here, i know that this is very hard to rank on Big page one) and sell a popular affiliate or cpa on it.However there are tons of ways to make money online and i wanted to know which course you thought you read and took action that made you money.

Please be so kind to share your experience on what course you read and made you money so.I would be interested to review it.

Much appreciated.

Basel

    Sure!

Bring the Fresh and Info Product Killer are two biggies for me.
I even disliked much of One Week Marketing but I did it and 1 yr later I'm still making sales.

    Yes! I've done it..

I think the problem is people give up too quickly, they are not persistence enough to make it happen, they might fail and they don't continue, they jump to the next shiny thing, there are many courses out there people can follow, which will make'em money but looking at the treads here within the warrior forum lately people, many of them...

They want to make thousand's a dollars a month within few days, without even put some work into it, because taking action = work, yes, there is work involved to make money online.. hope this helps people out there making their first Internet dollar..

I think you say it the best. People do quit to soon. They expect instant profits (due to to much hype) and when they don't turn up they quit and move on to the next thing.

Its important to remember, the if your doing IM you have to treat it as a business, even if its only part time. You need to set your goals, set your work hours and put your self to work.

I think most courses, no matter how good or bad, have potential to work. You have to committ and see it all the way through.

I used to be a flopper. Flipping and flopping to the next shinning thing, but now I have followed two courses through (the last one is still in its last stages) and I am making money.

The first course was on twitter/adsence. It showed me that what I was doing already was right, but it could be done a lot easier. The second, has showed me more and I am just waiting now to see how things go, before I go on a repeat the process.

    Yes I have done it.
I brought the Facebook Profits course and put it to use. Its one of the best courses I have seen online. Its easy, simple, doesn't take a lot of time and I see steady results from it daily.
It didn't take me long to set up and now its a case of rinse and repeat.
The one thing I LOVE about it is I don't have to write articles LOL.

If you are interested in reading the course check out the link in my signature. If it doesn't work for you and you don't make money from it. I will happily return your money.
Its worked for me and trust me I have brought LOTS of course online LOL

Bit of a long story and slightly of topic this but I will try to keep it as short as I can as I think you will find it interesting.

When I first started out I bought the package of ebooks from the guy on ebay,
planetsms and after realising that I was never gonna make any money from that I worked out that maybe I could do something else.

I spent a month designing 6 ebook websites with all of the products that I bought in the ebay auction then I set up some tutorials on how to set the sites up with their paypal email and that if they got their hosting through my link that I would happily set up the site for them free of charge, or they could download the zip file, watch the videos I had made and do it themsleves if they already had hosting, or pay me $25 and I would set it up for them on their existing hosting.

Well, in the end it didn't matter what I was getting for the ebook sites (these were done in Xsitepro btw so easy to edity and find & replace) as I was getting the full $125 a pop from hostgator as an affiliate, every month I was packing in 30-40 + commisions.

The biggest thing I learned from all of that was and this was the kicker, I never put 1 single link in any of the ebooks, zips or download pages, imagine the amount of money I through away.

Still, wouldn't change a thing, am doing what I love doing every day now

I have done it as well.

But I have started to figure this game out. A lot of people talk the talk but they don't walk the walk. There are a LOT of phonies in this business and that is really a shame. Especially lately I've really come to realize that people talk a big game but they're probably no better off than I am.

But to answer your question, yes there are some courses out there that are legitimate and you will make money with if you take action.

Yes, sure did. I even have a few courses that I followed that are making me money every day.

The Adsense/Amazon coaching of John Schwartz (zeus66) is one. The other one is The Nicheblogger from Amy Bass. And then a few more, but these two are my all time favourites.

In the past, I have bought a course and felt that it was complete crap until I came to that one sentence or paragraph that caused light bulbs to go off.

When you go to college, you don't just take one course and graduate. You take many over the course of four years. The idea is to get a little out of all of them and put it to work for you in your own way. The same goes for IM courses.

Funny thing is most courses where I actually put in the work did make me money. Maybe not the amount I was hoping for but they did profit. However the 2 biggies for me were the original "Pay Per Click Formula" years ago and "PPC Ninja". Those 2 really kicked things up for me.

I bought a WSO in mid November, I think I paid around $20 bucks for it.

I set up 3 sites, carefully following the guidelines. 2 have done absolutely nothing and the other has, as of today, generated around $300.

My total cost in all of it with hosting, domains and WSO is about $70 plus my time so yes, I have made some money.

Now if all 3 of them had worked.......it would have been much nicer. LOL

Yes, I followed One Week Marketing and made of bunch of Squidoo lenses.

I didn't pay much attention to them and did no ads, no backlinking, no bookmarking - nothing.

To my surprise, the lens made money on Clickbank products and Amazon.

I haven't touched them but they're still making a few dollars here and there.

I know half are rehashed and do not work
Really? Half? You've done them all?

      And could you define rehashed?

Because nothing is really new. Some have some unique twists and turns but the real stuff could all be considered rehashed.

It boils down to finding stuff that works best for YOU - which may not be any of what is said or recommended in this thread.

My suggestion - research some stuff on your own and decide exactly what arena you want to dabble in and then look for products that cover that specific element and look for reviews.

For example - as mentioned above - one week marketing. It is a perfectly good program but you may have no desire to deal with squidoo lenses where you don't really own the property. So this will appear to you as rehashed crap if this is your case. There are other courses on the same topic. Everyone handles them differently. You don't even have to buy anything either to learn what works.

Decide what monetization model you want first, and figure out your business model. You will quickly find the course that will best help you after you do that.

I would definitly recommend the challenge.
It is the first and only course I have ever done in IM and I haven't even finished it yet, however I have already made 0.91$ - Pretty lame by your standards, however I am glad I am making money after only 3 weeks.
It is a really simple course that teaches you the basics and also gives you a bunch of free tools to get you started (of course these are all trials but they are still extremly helpfull).
I got my blog site to page 5 already and it is improving (I hope) constantly.

.91 cents after 3 weeks? Is this course about earning or learning?

There's nothing to be ashamed about that. There are many newbies who go months and even years without earning anything, so I think he should be applauded for following through and taking action on what he learned during the challenge.

        Lol, I'm insulted!
Learning of course. Before that course I was drawn to even the most ROARing courses out there, scams and such. I didn't know ANTHING about IMing and now, after only 3 weeks, I know the basics and am earning money from my first website. I would absolutly call that a success. I am now taking it up one level as I am promoting affiliate products.
I should also mention that within a couple weeks I am now on page 5 of google for my main key word, and I expect this to improve within the next month as I continue to publish articles and add more authentic back links.
The Challenge taught me how to do all things things in a normal and efficient way, thus not getting flagged by google like a lot of newbies do.
I try to get my backlinks from authority websites as well, not those worthless ones.
Anyway, I think it's great and would recommend it to anyone. It was recommended to me by other warriors, some veterans that redo teh course each year to tune up their game. I just want to give back as I would not have succeeded without those warriors.

There have been numerous WSOs that I've purchased, taken action on, and seen tangible and almost immediate results. There have also been cases where a lot of the information wasn't new to me (but not 'rehashed') since I was already fairly experienced on the subject matter, but there were several gems in there, which when applied to my existing business model directly caused incremental gains, so I definitely derived some value from them as well.

Of course, there have been cases where the content was pure crap, but thankfully this has occurred only very rarely for me.

I'm not sure which products you have purchased but judging by the above "example" you've bought the wrong one's.

"make money" is as far from being a "buying keyword" as you could possibily get, infact its pretty much the exact opposite, "make money" is an information seeker keyword.

nope. none of them work. all scams. :-p

In all seriousness, there are lots of great courses out there, but what people need to realize is that they need to tailor the methods to their own skill sets. You could follow a method to a tee, but if you're in the wrong niche, you won't make a cent.

That's not the system's fault, that's the end user's fault. All too often I see people blaming the method when they should be blaming themselves.
