Need help with wordpress-reward-calling techie people

Ever since I have installed the latest version of wordpress I can not log in. I have contacted hostgator and they have confirmed this is the reason. They say I have to log in to the site via ftp and do this and that and the problem is I am a tech dummy and do not know how to do this stuff.

I have several wordpress blogs. I need someone who knows what they are doing to log into my hostgator account and do whatever needs to be done.

This is what hostgator says:

This is because of an incompatible plugin.

In the future, please always upgrade your plugins, first.

In order to determine which plugin is incompatible, please do the following:

Log in to your site via FTP.

Change to wp-content/plugins/

Begin downloading and then deleting plugins, one at a time.

Each time you delete a plugin from the site, try to log in.

Once you are able to get the site to load, then find the plugin you downloaded last. This is the plugin that was causing the problem.

You can now re-upload all the OTHER plugins (but not the one causing the problem).


Now, go get the latest version of the plugin causing the problem, and install the updated version.


I think I have around 8 blogs that need to be fixed. What would be a reasonable cost to pay for someone to do this? If you can do this for a reasonable cost (or my wso+ lenses barter) let me know and tell me what you charge. I really need to start blogging again and I can't until this is fixed.
