WP post rotater plugin?? Does one exist?

I'd like to find a plugin for WP that will rotate posts on a WP blog.

It would post a new article each week and delete the oldest.

Then round and round forever constantly rotating 50 or more blog posts.

Does such a thing exist?

Never heard of anything like this, although I'm not sure why you woudn't just keep the articles once they are published.

      Doesn't google like new content?

Pull the oldest and rotate it back in an a few months.

OK my basic thought train on this was

        Google likes fresh content.
Put say 5 posts on your blog main page 5 more in the archives and 40 or so in a database.
Pull one per week out of the database and make it a "new" post.
Drop the oldest back into the database and let it rust for a while.
40 or so weeks later it makes it back to the top of the database and the Goog think it's new.
Of course you have auto ping working and whatever other automatic stuff that turns you on. Put an autoresponder with a string of automated e-mailed offers.

You have an automated Blog with weekly fresh original content SEOed to within inches of death. You should never have to touch it again.

That's what I was thinking anyway.

I worked something like that a few years ago. I know things have changed. Maybe I'm confused. It's happened before.

What are you trying to achieve??? Just go out an buy an autoblog script its simple... no complicated ****e... if you worried about google and fresh content remove the date from the posts.

Also, on a side note I build sites that are pure dupliacte content and they rank very well in google lots of page one listings etc....

no need to delete the posts just leave them on your site....

I wonder why you would delete the old post?

Because when old posts are deleted, you will have 404 error not found pages, if you have them indexed, which means not too good for SEO.

I would renew the published date instead.

But i have never known any plugins for that, sorry.

Just take that idea and toss it in the round file. It's not going to work.
