Articles - How or what to write in the resourse box ?

I know the resource box is to write an intro of you or the product you are promoting, so I was wondering is there a way of writing it, so that it will entice the reader to click through it...
Does this concern copywriting?

The resource box is not about you at all. Consider it just an extension of your article. End with an enticing statement that will get a click through.

When the google bot goes to ezine articles, it doesn't see resource box. It sees content just like in the body of the article. So treat it as such, an opportunity to have your link surrounded by related content.

I think it depends if you're looking for readers (visitors to your site) from your article marketing or just backlinks. I suspect a little copywriting does it's trick in a resource box - I'll leave that to the experts - as long as "actual" people read it.

If you're ranking high for keywords with your article make it readable and less spammy.

If you're talking of way-back-street- articles that are just looking for cheap baklinks - it doesn't matter. I just wouldn't bother taking too much time over it.

Yes, like hinted at above, you want your resource box to reaffirm your call to action and get your readers to click through.

So I will usually start an offer or really grab their attention by "shocking" them, in the resource box. If you have enough room (depending on your niche) you can intertwine something about you or the product(not too much) just something like " Your Name has been in the wieghtloss industry for over 7 years and his #1 best selling ebook link has helped thousands of people lose 5Kg's in less than a week".

So yes, reaffirm your call to action with some copy writing style/persuasive/shocking style writing.

I use similar tactics to when I am writing forum signatures.. Catch their eye, use bolded text where appropriate, and make it look enticing to look into!
