Affiliate Marketing vs Niche Marketing

What's the difference between affiliate marketing and niche marketing? I think I understand what affiliate marketing is all about. Perhaps I just don't fully understand niche marketing. Don't they work together? Don't people generally do affiliate marketing based on a particular niche? There's other ways to do niche marketing besides having an affiliate site, aren't there?

    Why don't you just do and act on what you already know about affiliate marketing or niche marketing? It is getting you nowhere to worry about something like this.

    Well, honestly I too don't know what the differences is. I think both of them is actually same. Perhaps in niche marketing you also create your own product inside that niche rather than just promote others products.

    Affiliate marketing = selling someone else's products
    Niche marketing = selling products within a specific niche

    They go hand-in-hand, but you can niche market without selling affiliate products.
