I have steady income in my full time job, but i do not have time for IM activities. I wish to invest $1000 monthly in IM, can anyone advise me where should i start from? i am new in IM, but i do understand basic of seo and list building and article submission. So far my investment is in buy and read many wso only. i have builded 2 amazon review sites.

I am thinking of outsource article writing and list building, anyone has any best methods in outsourcing?

I have market samurai, flex squeeze theme and reviewazon, market samurai and flex squeeze are the best tools but i dont use reviewazon anymore, since it just create duplicate contents from amazon. Any other best tools can recommend?

I would recommend not buying anything until you learn what everything is and how to do it manually. Any tools aren't going to help if you don't know what they are used for or how to use them.

Read about the basics of IM first, before spending any money. Make sure that you see a few dollars roll in before you start investing. That way you know exactly how you are making money and then can duplicate it with some new shiny tools.

Probably not the advice you want to hear, but that is my personal opinion

That's not the way you need to target it, unless you're making EXCESSIVE money in your full time job.

Many WSOs here are full of quality, however, some are not. They trick you, especially noobs, with their sales pages to buy the product, regardless of it's quality.

If you are determined to buy WSO after WSO, I highly recommend only invest in ones that have MANY MANY reviews. Read the ENTIRE thread all the way through, each and every last page. If you see no negativity arising from the thread, then you've found a good WSO.

    • Work out a single plan you can make profitable, Dont get persuaded to sign up to many different products that show you how to do.... blah blah ect!

Learn how to research niche's! put all your effort in to that, build a site around that niche!

Check out my traiing guide in my sig (its actually free).. but it sows you how to setup websites, setup google analytics and aweber, squeeze pages ect...

If i was you, and i had limited time, i would team up with somone that could build your membership website and start generating content....

      Good luck man!

Very good advice, it is a bit like a kid in a candy store, everything looks so appealing. Cut your teeth on some old offers, the ones that tend to get recycled for $27, perhaps less if you leave their page.

Get on a few peoples lists by leaving their squeeze page and resisting all their offers.

Use a seperate email online email address.

Once you start to understand the potential of each service you can match it to what you know or what you are passionate about.

if you have 1000$ to invest each month, then you can get out of free time for your family. you can hire a regular writer and link builder at elance or freelane as those people are good in doing it but becareful too in selecting them cuz some are really messy

My recommended course of action is simple, especially in light of the fact that you've bought many WSOs but haven't really taken action on any of them - learn the process of building your Amazon sites throughly first.

Try building a couple more of these sites, and really get the hang of it. Once you've reached that stage, then you can start thinking about outsourcing. There is no point in outsourcing now when you don't have a replicable system that you know fairly well that can be handed off to an outsourcer - you'd be merely wasting your time if you tried outsourcing work right now at this point in time.

this is what I was gonna say, glad I read the thread first - yeah don't invest that money yet until you know how to make a money generating web site (which you may need to do a lot of trial and error on your own to get to that point) - but when you do, then invest in outsourcing to replicate.

If I was in your shoes, and you wanted to start investing money right now, I'd invest it in content generation and link building - those two tie up a lot of time

      • I agree with most folks on this thread. That $1,000 will not be well spent...YET.

You have to find ONE method and make it profitable. Do not get distracted by shiny baubles.

One thing that will produce some income is content and links. Always has and always will, but research and marketing experience will get the ROI 10x more profitable than just content and links alone. And there are a lot of scams out there -- beware.

If you see this..."I made $205,984.09 in 30 days"...run as fast as you can.

The real truth is that you will fail. Fail fast and often.

My advice, bust your ass on only one site, one traffic method. Make it make money through sheer will. Repeat. Then see where that money can be spent to let you build more.

I think you may consider joining the war room, so this way you'll have access to everything you need to start and you just pay $37 one time fee, this part is for the learning process, then as everyone said here, learn and implement as the same time before you start outsourcing anything, this way you will understand how things work.

            Hi CS,

First and foremost, I hope that you have a good strategy in place.

Outsourcing is a great way to grow you business.

However, without a solid marketing strategy in place that money will just be going to waste.

If you are willing to compromise on quality, then Fiverr is a great place to start looking for freelance work.

For more professional jobs, you should probably check out places like Elance or Odesk.

Decide on a membership site you would like to start; preferably one that would appeal to a massive audience. Purchase a membership site script and start working on it. Once you have plenty of good, useful content start promoting. If it's a really good site and you charge a fair membership price you could turn that 1,000 dollars into a nice little steady income. You can then create more sites like this and continue to increase your online income.

It really would not take that much of an investment every month. For you can head over to a site like vworker and have someone create a simple wordpress theme for your site. This would run you anywhere from 100-400 depending on the type of theme you would like built. You can then outsource all of your article writing either through here at the warrior forum for hire or again through vworker. These prices do vary but you can find some good writers for as little as $3 an article. Once you have the articles on your site and your main page up and runing simply pay another person to submit your articles to the various sites. This shouldnt run any more then 100 depending upon how many articles you are having them submit and to how many sites. Then just go out and buy some backlinking packages. I seen one in the warrior for hire that builds steady links over time something like 10k links a month for around 100. Then you just need to keep adding content and have a few tools on your site installed to automate the entire process. If you are looking for a few ready mades have a look at the first link in my sig. This will give you 32 different niches to work with and all of the training you would need. It would also give you a site and hosting to work with. Many of the niches already come with the most searched keywords. You just need to narrow them down a little further. Although you can out source this as well. Best of luck to you hope this helped.

  • Wow, a grand a month. Nice!
My advice would be to get yourself a decent keyword tool. This changed my internet marketing career.

CS, how long is a piece of string?

There is no set answer to this, it depends in what direction you want to take your business.

First decide what niche you want to step into. Then decide how you plan to make money within that niche. If you spend money without a plan then you will not see a return on your investment. Trust me.

Once you have your plan sorted you can outsource every aspect of your business with enough capital.

If you're interested in list building you could outsource report writing / squeeze page design.

If you're interested in creating a product you could outsource product creation / sales page design / copywriting.

If you want to do niche marketing you could outsource article writing / website design.

Alternatively you could invest in a PPC Campaign to promote affiliate / CPA offers.

But my advice would be to invest in an Online Business Coach to establish which direction you want to go in. You might see that as "money wasted" because you're not buying tools or getting any "end product" but it will save you money in the long run.

Wow this is a big investment! I would stay away from banner ads. This only worked when some tech guy did the campaign for me. I never figured it out on my own so I can't really give advice about it. I would invest in tools for your business that will allow you to use bum marketing methods rather than investing 1,000 every month. Buy Wordpress robot and Micro Niche Finder!! These are amazing tools! I would also invest in outsourcing articles for article marketing or paying someone to build links for you. Good luck!

If you have money but no time, then your best bet would be to buy some established sites. Check out marketplaces such as Flippa or DP. If you have limited time, I'd also stick to "passive" earning sites - so look for Adsense, Clickbank, CPA earnings and not service sites or just launched products. I personally wouldn't bother with list building either, as looking after a good list takes commitment which you may not be able to give.

The issue with buying all these tools and building sites from scratch is that it requires a LOT of work (or luck) to get them profitable. At least by buying a profitable site, it has a proven model which you can build on.

Go pick up a few sites for $200-500 on Digital Point or Flippa that ALREADY (not promised) have some proven traffic and revenue, then work on them from there. By buying something established, you save yourself a few months of hard work and can build a nice portfolio quite quickly.

    Good luck!

My suggestion is to invest more time and less money for now. When you get into a groove, you will know exactly what tools, outsourcing, or further training would make your life easier and then you can seek them out.

Investing that amount of money without a solid background and some experience doing it yourself is asking for trouble in my opinion... I strongly believe you need to fail at least a few times so you can figure out what works and what doesn't.

Now if you don't mind spending a little money to fail a few times, I guess that will work too!

If I were starting from zero and could invest $1k a month I would do the following:

    1. Outsource a report/product/autoresponder sequence ($200 a month)
    2. Solo Ads

If you invested $800 a month on solo ads and $200 on reports, AR messages, squeeze pages, etc. You should be able to quickly build a list and start seeing a profit. You can then start learning other techniques.

With $800 a month you should be able to purchase 4 - 1000 click solo ads. So you will get 4000 clicks a month (or more) and if you squeeze page converts at 50% you should get 2K subs a month, 1k if it converts at 25%.

Offer a OTO to them after they subscribe and use this money to reinvest in solo ads.

Doing this you should easily have over 20K on your list by the end of the year and easily able to earn a full time living from that list.

    Good Luck

Learn PPC, Media buys, etc.. That's where a lot of money is, but it isn't easy. Then again, neither is Internet marketing. Those who believe it's easy, usually never make money!
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[3224579].message }}
    • My opinion is that Odesk has gone way down hill! Hearing good things about Fiverr though.

Media buys and PPC, now there is a way to burn through $1,000 in about two hours if you don't know what you're doing. Haha. Be careful.

If you already have, as you claim, pretty good knowledge on the basics...

...AND you have an itch to invest $1k per month in order to take yourself to the next level...

...I think far and away the best investment you can possibly make is a hands-on, personal, high-end mentorship with a REALLY accomplished IM'er. That budget should give you pretty much your pick. (Well, except for the REALLY top end, legendary guys, but big deal.)
