? how/where should I begin?

As a newbie to internet marketing with little $, I'm looking for advise as to where/how to begin in order to...as quickly as possible begin making upwards of $4-5000. per month and more.

    Well, the Warrior Forum is a great place to start. Look through this forum and also take a look at the archive on the "old" forum: The Warrior Forum

    Spend a few hours looking at tips and techniques that people use to make money. Then start to work out a plan that works best for you.

    Once you know how you want to start, then make a plan. Make long-term goals (where you want to be in like a year) and short-term goals (what you want to have done by the end of a week and even by the end of the day).

    Stick with just one thing, do that as well as you can, and don't move on until you have success with it.

    That should at least get you started...

    Oh, and don't fall for any "Get Rich Quick" scams or anything that tells you that you'll be rich in a month without any work.

    Only knowledge + work + belief + planning = success.

        I think the best place to begin would be with a notepad and a pen. Put some good thought and idea on paper you are interested in.

        This will give you a chance to organize your thoughts. Having them on paper gives you the chance to come back to them and say. "OK is this really something I am interested in and can I produce quality material day in and day out about this subject."

        Once you have focused on a subject matter that you feel comfortable in dive in head first. Maba1 is correct starting a blog is probably of the easiest and most beneficial ways to start.

        As you you get further into this thing you call Internet Marketing you will begin to see there is an infinite amount of information out there. Some good, some bad. There will be pitfalls along the way, but ultimately it is up to you to determine the methods that best fit your business model.

        Focus on one step at a time at first. Set a long-term goal, but break that long-term goal into small steps to accomplish. That way when you accomplish one of those small goals you have feeling of satisfaction and know your moving in the right direction to acheive what you ultimately set out to do.

      Hi,

      I'm going to be brutal here...

      You need more than a few $$ to be successful at anything... IM is the same.

      You need software, hosting, list builders, e-commerce processors... the list goes on and on depending on your intention.

      You need money to invest in yourself to learn techniques or strategies from successful marketers, and that costs money (just reading "free" information all day won't bring you far).

      You need time, time which you'd probably exchange for money. Later on when you start making money, you'll have more help and free-up your time.

      You'll need to learn to do things on the Net (like setting up a website etc.) if you don't have money to pay someone.

      Lack of funds may force you to explore and invent other avenues of making money... which may prove to be winner if you stick to the basics (and read the advice in the posts above mine).

      Good luck... but don't hesitate to ask specific questions on this forum... some of the best names in the business camp-out here.

    Hey there,

    If you just beginning I would really concentrate on learning the trade before doing anything man. If you don't have the knowledge first your going to struggle for a long time, so my advice is to invest a bit of some information products so that you can start building up some knowledge & interest in what exactly you want to do and accomplish online.

    Hi Corry,

    You can make a good living in internet marketing, but it takes time, you can't run before you can walk. I personally have a free website and blog which has just managed page 1 on google for my keywords. It has taken me a few months to get there, but I haven't spent anything in the process (other than hosting & auto responder) It is now that I expect to start seeing the rewards as the traffic/ visitors to my website have dramatically increased. But I still have to work at it, giving any free time I have to the project. So if I can do it.......so can you.
