Do you PPC if you have products?

Is it bad to run PPC campaigns when you own your own products? Won't you be competing with your own affiliates?

I ask because recently I switched from running my own campaign to releasing my keywords on my affiliate page instead and teaching them to use google adwords.

Should I still run my own campaign or is it better to leave more room for affiliates to make sales for less?

  • Your one campaign will not majorly affect your affiliates, so I see no upside to pulling it down (unless you need to save money). Also, whose sales do you want more - yours or theirs?
