Need help on how much to sell my website for

I have a website which is ranked on the second page for the keyword online shopping and the first page for the keyword online shopping usa in Google. I am planning to list it on Flippa for selling but would like to know what would be a realistic reserve price I should put. It earns some money and gets about 5000 visitors a month, but would like to know what would be good price based on just the ranking of the specified keyword in Google.

Any help or pointers is appreciated. Thanks!

    It is worth 8-12 times the monthly income. You cannot sell it based on what it 'could' make based on where it's ranking.

    Rule #1. Domains value are good as much the buyer wants to pay.
    So, don't get upset if you are offered less than expected.
    Go to estibot dot com and see how much is worth it.
    Keep it as long as you can wait. Update the info as much as you can.
    Patience, patience, more patience and learn to say: No.
    You will be getting what you want or almost what you got in mind.

      I checked one of the sites that came up with that keyword on Estibot, it said it was worth $45, I guess the OP has some work to do!!

    If I were you I would get the Flipping Domains product by Zack Booker I think. Also join the IMAdvantage (you just missed http://www.warriorforum.com/internet...een-yet-2.html although might be able to get you in (I am not an affiliate - just got in myself). This program helps you create ecommerce for sites, you could build a ton of niche sites and use your current site to link to those sites. For examples of the niche sites they create checkout Store Chain e-Commerce Web Stores I'm assuming your site is a directory anyway. Now with the niche sites built and linked to the main site you could sell the lot. They built $1m dollar turnover store in 8 months. They have sold some by themselves for 6 figure sums.

      Thanks for the info. Does this involve eCommerce by drop-shipping / affiliate sales or by actually stocking the goods and selling them online?

    You can try to use this software developed for sitepoint marketplace before. Although this is not 100% accurate, this is the suggested tool that provides closest result.
