hi, what is seeded email?

sorry about my ignorance, one of the AM asked for a seeded email when I told him I do email marketing. can anyone tell me the format of a seede email? many thanks.

      He wants to insert an email address in your list to test delivery. You can either ask if he would like to use a particular email address, or else you can provide it for testing.

        Yes, seeded email is simply an email address placed within a list to track who is sending what. In other words, if you purchase a list for a one time use, the seller may put a seed in the list. If that seed receives multiple offers at that email address, the manager of the list will know that you have used the list more than you paid for.
