Okay my website haloreachtips.com is making pretty good money. We are getting about $1,500 a month in sales.

I have been submitting alot of articles, doing squidoo pages, podcasts, youtube videos, we did a press release through webwire recently.

However when I look for my links through google
only one link shows. We are on page 1 on google towards the bottom for
"halo reach tips" and on bing and yahoo
we are number 3. Why is google not showing my links? And is there a way
to make them show. Does anyone have any tips to get to number one?

To get on #1 of google, continue to fire high quality backlinks to your site consistently. It doesn't matter if your backlinks are showing up on Google as long as you are making money. It doesn't show up for unknown reasons. Consistency is key.

I would agree with the previous poster. Good quality back links are the key to ranks.

If you want to know how many links Google is actually tracking for you, you must login to Google Webmaster Tools and prove yourself the owner of the website.

Google does not show your links to the public, because your competitors may be looking to steal your link popularity from you.

Google doesn't track the links because they may be nofollow. But is it counting them to your benefit? You bet they do. That's the reason you are on the front page. The key is to search for your links in other search engines like Yahoo and Altavista. I would advise not to think about it too much and just focus on increasing your traffic so you can get more sales.

As already stated by tpw, Google won't show you a thorough list of your links on the search pages. There is a way to get around that to some degree. Do a search for you domain name in quotes:

    Google Search "haloreachtips.com"

171 results were shown initially. I clicked on the link to show similar pages and got 449 results.

I second Bill's suggestion that you login to Google's Webmaster Tools to see all the links Google credits you with. While you're there take a peek at the wealth of information Google has collected for you.

Under "Your site on the web" you can find the search queries your site is being found with. You may find that you are getting a lot of traffic from a term you weren't targeting. Plug the top terms into Google and Bing and see where your site is showing up in the SERPs. You might just be surprised.

Don't have a Google Webmaster Tools account? There's no time like the present to head on over there and get it started.

    Respectfully,
    -Anita

P.S. Then there's Google Analytics, but don't get me started...
