Raise $30,000 or face deportation

Ok, the title of this thread pretty much sums this up. I am in Australia on a student visa but the immigration department expects me to show a bank statement of an account with $30,000 in it for them to extend my student visa.

I have been thinking about it and there is no way on earth am going to be able to raise this in 6 months considering that I can only work for 20 hrs per week under Australia's student visa regulations.

I have been on the internet for a while and my hard drive is packed up with a lot of IM courses and products that I bought overtime and whose lessons I didn't implement due to my own laziness, lack of self discipline and a host of other issues.

My Plan;

1.Build a 5k targeted list over the next 5 months.

2.Build and maintain trust, contact and correspondence with this list by sending out free valuable tips in my niche

3. Once the list reaches around 4k or 4500 I launch my own product and sell it either for $27 or $17

Any constructive criticisms and suggestions about this plan are totally welcome

    Even I wouldn't be that cruel.
    I am no expert, however the advice I have for you is to put your heart and soul into working, any work. You might need to take a full time job that pay 3K$ a month and spend the rest of your time in IM related issues.
    You are up against 5K$ in earning per month, this is no easy task, especially for a beginner such as yourself. I would definitly get a regular paying job to lighten the demands on your new online bussiness. I personally don't believe you can reach that level of automation income online that quickly. Again, I might be wrong. You really should wait for more experienced people. Just don't wait too long! You said you tend to be lazy. You don't stand a chance without working extremly long days.

  • Get very good at creating a product and building a list the first month, then get very good at recruiting affiliates each month after that. Start a site a month and launch a product every 2 months with affiliates, you'll make it.
  • My blunt advice is this, get a person that'll kick your a...s...s and make you stay focused. Seriously, I prefer it when I've got someone forcing my a..s..s and kicking my to take actions because that person will really help me.

    If you're kinda lazy, get a mentor or a friend that'll give you a masterplan/blueprint and follow it religiously. Really look for someone that has made it and simply follow the persons' steps...don't reinvent the wheel, just copy a working one and again, STAY FOCUSED AND GET YOUR A...S...S KICKED. It's for your good.

    • Well... what are you good at online? If you are good at something and you think you can do a good job, well you can use this charged this service at a premium price....

      And once you got a customer that said you done well... you on a roll....

      That's just one of an ideal... but is up to you to think about...

  • While product creation is a viable option, don't put all your eggs in one basket and only focus on one product launch. Try creating multiple products within the same niche - the more products you have out there on the internet for sale, the more chances you get to make money.

    Have you figured out how you're going to drive traffic to your squeeze page to build your list? If money's tight, I'd spend every waking hour that you can spare to write articles and create videos. You cannot afford to be lazy with such a big deadline hanging over your head. I think you may have a shot at pulling this off if you put your heart and soul into it, but it's definitely not going to be easy.

    With respect, that is not a plan, it's an idea.

    To each of your points I would ask "How?" and "What qualifies you to do this?"

    And, of course, who are your customers?

    If you can answer those questions in detail, THEN you have a plan.
