What video creation software could be used to create a video like this?

Anyone knows what video creation sofware could be used to create a video like this?


I know about After Effects! Anything else?

    iMovie for Mac would make that easily. And if you aren't on a Mac, then you could do it easily with Windows Movie Maker. All you need is software that has slide, fade, and rotate effects. WMM has all of those. I could make that video in probably less than an hour.

      There's nothing particularly complicated about the text/effects in that video. A video like that could be easily made with Sony Vegas (much easier to learn than After Effects or Final Cut).

        WMM won't be able to do 10% of what's in that video.

        What you need to do is look at the individual elements that make up the video. Once you break them down you'll see you need a software that does graphical work as well as composition.

        Here's something else to consider...most of the videos you watch that contain moving graphics or special effects are done using a multitude of softwares. It's rarely one software package that can do it all. Including Adobe After Effects, et al.

        Many times what you are seeing used are plug-ins that make specific effects. I do a lot of video and generally use a combination of softwares to achieve what I'm after. That's just the way it works.

        But if you want to try to achieve that look with only one software After Effects is probably a good bet.

        Then you just need the talent to come up with ideas that make a good video. That's where things get sticky...
