Girl falls off mountain while texting...

You've no doubt seen the recent youtube video "girl falls in fountain while texting"...

Crafty video makers could make a fortune on parodies of real-world events that go viral if you could tie it to a product...anyone seen examples of that?

I can imagine Motorola affiliates creating a video of a girl walking off the cliff of a large mountain, tumbling forever, bouncing off rocks, landing, getting up, and continuing to text. She could pause as she notices the cameraman, hold her phone up to the camera, smile, and say, "Don't worry. It's a Droid".... (those Motorola Droids really are built like tanks.)

And so on...

Yes and Sistergirl is now suing the Mall because someone posted the video on Youtube and laughed at her when she called in.

Yea... Type in "home intruder song" on Youtube. In case you haven't heard of it, here's a short version of the story:

Sister of a local name Antoine Dodson got attacked by a rapist in her room. Antoine went in and save her. This got the family a local news interview.

Antoine's way of speaking was found sooo hilarious that a Youtuber turned it into a music video which went viral within a day and is now being sold on iTunes. Antoine got his share of the profit and is now "rich."

Soon after, he got hired to do an app commercial for the famous Apple >_>

It's so CATCHY!!! Couldn't help but sing along. Anyways, back to marketing....

The big companies are starting to learn that comedy is the key of drawing the consumer's attention... Check out this commercial by statefarm. Laughed my butt off the first time I saw it:

    LOL!

If Motorola will really come up with a commercial like that, it'll be epic! Unforgettable, and I will surely remember to pick up one once I need a new phone. LOL

This guy has to be making a lot of money. I hope so. This isn't even his best one. I just don't get how you can make money off of ads that are not relevant to the video.
