Facebook Fan Page Issue

Hi i am working on a Facebook Fan Page i have read that facebook will block a page after 10k fans from you posting to them unless you authenticate the page.

I am a business that targets to Men an women will facebook have a problem if i have two different fan pages with 10k+ fans on each an both are for my business.

    Yes, it is true. Around the time you hit 10,000 fans Facebook will ask you to prove that you are the right person to be the admin of that page. If the fanpage is for a website then putting a fan box on your webpage will be enough to prove it. This is to stop people like me creating a page for say Coco-Cola or the Warrior Forum and taking advantage of all those fans and traffic when I am not the real owner/spokesperson for that company.

    From my experience don't wait for them to come to you and ask you to prove you are the right person to admin that page. Whatever your fan page, try and buy a domain that sounds similar to the name of your fanpage. Put up a quick blog with a few articles or whatever on it and make sure you embed a fan page box for your fanpage. Once you've set that up be sure to list the url in your fan page details. That way when you hit the 10K mark, Facebook will come to your fanpage, see the url, go to that url and see the fan box, and approve you as the admin.

      Hey thanks for helping out so if i am running two fan pages over 10k for the same website an same company/business will facebook be okay with that i want to know say i have a fan page called "i love dogs" and one called " Accessories for dog's an clothing" both have over 10k+ fans in the same account facebook is okay with that as long as you do what you mentioned.

      Multiple fan pages under one account for the same business is okay.
