You STILL Think Autoblogs and Minisites Work in 2011?

Hey Warriors,

Been busy with some covert product launches the last few months so wasnt been able to be here a lot.

So just to update some of our fellow warriors who have Minisites and Autoblogs part of their income generating goals for 2011:

Google has been all out in reducing these kinds of sites in the search results and Matt Cutts has formally announced it here and watch a video of him addressing this issue .

Just a friendly advise - you might want to rethink your strategies for this year.

To Your Success,

My autoblogs actually did way better after the updates in May of last year, but the recent announcement does make me glad that my main focus now is on original, quality content.

What do you think will happen to the autoblogs with spinners? Or will a spinner even make a difference?

      Good for you danny!

Focusing on quality contents on your main site is, for me, a MUST. The days of auto-content generation might be fading faster than the time it takes for anyone to build 50/100-ish of these sites.

My share is all about putting things into perspective with the changes that seems to be the way of life us IMers.

IM may seem easy, but it rarely rewards those who are lazy and those who are resistant to change.

    Great share,

I liked the idea of an autoblog but its always easy to tell by the quality. The only autoblog I think that will work in 2011 is to save your posts and have them set to be posted on certain dates.

You never know though, theres always someone out there who comes up with a loophole. Not much of fan to expose loopholes but it can change the way people market online.

I honestly don't know how anyone could think Google would not deploy counter measures for the massive amounts of auto-blogging and spam style syndication. Thats not to say that all syndication will be deemed spam as there are plenty of legit authoritative sites that to syndicate content to some extent. But the big difference between those sites and most autoblogs is the level of trust and authority established sites that syndicate content have.

Personally I feel that human based content curation and news mastering are the way to go instead of autoblogs.
