Can you get Click Bombed on Amazon?

Past few days i have seen my usual number of daily clicks rise from the usual average of 100 to around 800 and i havent noticed a traffic increase on any of my amazon sites.

I am actually getting twice as many clicks compared to my unique visitors so I am wondering who is clicking my links so much and why?

Could this be too get me in trouble with Amazon some how?

Are you using in-text links to Amazon, within product reviews and other relevant content?

Are you using blog software (like Wordpress) to run your site?

If so, the odds are that one or more people are using your content on their sites, and you are getting clicks from the links in your content. This is a Good Thing.

Question is, are those extra clicks turning into sales?

If yes, then celebrate. If no, it's still not a biggie. Lots of people put Amazon links in ebooks, emails, etc., so even if every click can't be traced to one of your web pages, you should be on solid ground.

About the only thing that could land you in hot water is if your links are appearing on "undesirable" sites, the ones specifically disallowed in the Associate agreement.

If the extra clicks continue, you might want to drop a note to Amazon telling them you aren't sure where the extra clicks are coming from, so they can check it out.

Another thing you can do is run a Google search for your affiliate ID, and see where your links are showing up.
