Using Pen Name even when Signing up for JV affiliate program

I'm kind of in a deadlock here...I'm not sure if I should use the same pen name I have for my business when signing up for that JV affiliate program related to this particular niche.

I'm in totally different niches, 1 of them I use my real name and the other 1 I use a pen name.

When signing up for an affiliate program for the one I use my real name, of course, I sign up using all my real information and personal email; however, here's the situation I'm not so sure about, I don't want people to know that I'm the one and same person in different niches, so when I sign up for this different affiliate program related to the niche which I used a pen name...

should I still use that pen name persona, or get real and let that JV affiliate partner know who I really am and everything?

I think it's pretty important that you have a good relationship with your JV's, so even in niches where I've used pen names (and in some niches multiple pen names) the JVs tend to know who I am.

For the payment information, I can understand, but when it comes to it being paid by a 3rd party like PayPal, I don't think they will find out who you really are unless you put your real info down. I'm thinking of signing up different PayPal accounts so t, one for each niche, since that's how the vendor pays his affiliates.

You are not in a deadlock - you are painting yourself into a corner.

Vendors need to know who they are paying as legalities and taxes apply. Paypal limits you to two accounts - and verifies the info you provide.

Pen names are fine for site and writing - but they do not work in areas where you need to establish your identity. Those places include anywhere money changes hands.

        There you go.

If you want to get paid, use your real name.

If you want to inform or entertain, use a pen name.

If you have a proper business name, have checks made out to the business entity. Else, checks will need to be made out to you.

This goes against the PayPal Terms of Service and is the sort of thing that will get your account frozen. When they freeze them, they do it for a reason, and this would be one of those.

So we should always be truthful my identity and information when signing up for affiliate programs to work with potential JV partners...even if we're in total polar opposite niches...

Like take for examples if we're in both these niches porn (which I'm not btw) opposite to corporate hiring (which I'm not also btw)

One of them is very casual and unprofessional while the other one is very professional.

It's like dealing with 2 different contradicting identities...

That was why I asked do you still want your potential JV affiliate partners to know about this?

Thanks for all the clarity. Maybe I've been too narrow-minded on this. I was thinking along the lines for my business, just all business, and nothing personal such as my real identity and my personal information that is 2 different person and contradicting to one another.

When it comes to money NEVER do anything misleading - that includes using a pen name. If the authorities found out for whatever reason it would look very suspicious, although you had good intentions for doing so.
