Hi!

Is there anyone who can help me to get my paypal button to work? I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm totally newbie, so please don't judge me too hard:rolleyes:!

I will be happy if some one took the time and effort, because I'm going bananas here in the cold north (Sweden):p!!

Cheerio!

It should be as simple as copying and pasting the code that paypal gives you.

At the very end when, you get the code for your button, you will see you can also get the code as a URL. I think the option is called "Email button" or something similar.

You need to link your payment button graphic to that URL

You just find yourself an "Order" button and upload it to your server. Then take the Paypal url (without the Paypal button image) and hyperlink the Order Button that you uploaded.

    Example:
    <a href="Paypal URL here"<img src="order button url here"></a>

I think Clarissa means adding the button to a WSO.

I remember how much trouble this caused me when I first did it.

Clarissa, the trouble is that you need to use BB (forum) code, which Paypal doesn't give you. That is why when making a button in PayPal you need to choose the "email button" option at the end, instead of the HTML option. Then link a button image to that URL.

For things like this, and other effects, you can see the avialable codes by clicking on the BB Codes link you will see in the Posting Rules box at the lower left of this and every other forum thread.

The page will show you all of the codes you can use, and has a specific section to show you how to embed a link.

I searched all over and followed a frustrating and convoluted path to this information until I found the link was actually available at the bottom of every thread. [sigh]
But now that I know, I bring it up so others don't have the same problem.

Watch your code when you paste it into your site. If you can't get it to work you may want to hire someone to do it for you. If is not there you are not making money. Not a good thing. The best of luck to you.
