Can I advertise to give away a something if they buy?

I am promoting some products on learn how to play instruments. Can I advertise that I will give away an instrument to someone if join my list and they buy a membership through my affiliate link? I really plan on giving it away especially if sales get really good. Can I advertise to do this?

    It may depend on your state and local laws as to how (and if) a giveaway can be conducted. If a purchase is required, there are probably more rules and regulations to follow than if no purchase is required. In any event, check your state and local laws regarding giveaways. You may also need to include language such as "void where prohibited" and the like.

    Your best bet is probably to talk to a lawyer.

    Yes, if you know how to do it, you can advertise it. That is a great idea.

    People often offer bonuses if you use their affiliate link. Most times you have to wait till the refund period is over to avoid giving people freebies and then getting a refund notice and you don't get your commission. You can do it, but as was said previously, good idea to talk to a lawyer.
