      It's definitely a thought provoking video and simply looking around at different businesses and products it's obvious which companies use the approach, which ones 'try' and which just don't get it.

      I'm interested in how this one goes over here on the forum too. I hope it helps some people in their business, or at least gets them thinking more.

        While a lot of what he says is mere bullocks (he mentions it like this magic formula, nothing is magic, it all takes hard work), the core idea is solid.

        I watched it couple of weeks ago and looked back at my projects, only to realize that the really successful projects were about the why. A truly reveleation moment right there.

          I saw this video on TED last year and it's a good summary
          of Simon Sinek's book, Start with Why.

          Too many businesses in Internet Marketing and elsewhere
          are soul-less entities focused on doing the "what" with little
          sense of purpose.

          However, if you take your business a little deeper and drill
          into your own "why" and what you want to contribute to the
          marketplace, it's a much more fulfilling journey.

          Purpose-driven businesses rock.

          Hmm. I don't think he said it is easy to make money.

          He argued that success comes from thinking first about WHY then HOW and WHAT.

          I get from this that it is worth shifting the focus from the financial prize to trying to achieve something you believe in.

          I also think that if you fail trying to make money it is frustrating and you may quit easily. But if you fail trying to do something you believe in you will keep trying because it means more to you than money.

      It definitely takes work and determination to succeed.

      The way I see videos and methods like this is they simplify things, which is what makes it look easy, and then I can go from the inspiration and do my own thing within that mindset. Not sure if that makes sense but it works for me. I just use it to expand my overall thinking and understanding.
