Adsense VS clickbank

I'm in the weight loss niche and I was wondering what avenue would be more profitable for me: adsense or adsense style clickbank ads or banners? Can you guys help me?

    It depends on a few things

    1) The click through rate (CTR) of your CB banners vs the adsense
    2) How well your CB product converts

    If it converts fairly well, then Clickbank can probably be more profitable.

    But if you're getting a good amount of money per click, Adsense might work better.

    Just like all things- test :-)

    There are some very popular CB weight loss products. Some have sold in big numbers for years. But weight loss is a tough niche to crack into. You may well live or die by the keywords you find. You'll have the same keyword issues if you use Adsense on your site. I think try CB first, then Adsense alone, then a combination of both. Go with the one that produces the most income. Don't assume... test.

      Why are you even doing a "VS" ???

      Integrate adsense into the natural flow of your page and put links to clickbank product reviews within your posts or somewhere on your site.

      Why make it one or the other?

      I agree. Test one, then the other, then test by intermingling the two of them. Also, test your layout. Different layouts will attract different click-through rates, so move some things around and pay attention to CTR and your conversions.
