RSS Tease Vs. Full Posts

I just set up my first RSS/linked to feedburner, all of that. In the feedburner options I see that I can do just a tease of each post which seems like a good idea because it encourages people to visit your site when they want the rest, YET most people who talk about this I've read say they like to show the full posts.

Can someone explain to me why people seem to prefer doing it this way or maybe I'm wrong?

Can you still include everything from images to affiliate links to videos and all of that in your feed posts if you make them complete, because I suppose if you can do that then I'd make it as easy as possible for someone to read a full post (in the feed) as opposed to forcing them to go one extra step, even if that step is as simple as clicking through the teaser post to get to the full one on my website.

    Setting up your rss feed to "summary" is better in my opinion. Since there are tons of autoblogs out there which scrap your content, and sometimes they do scrap it and delete the link to your site.

    I would set the teaser, so traffic will still come to your site (as original post). If you show all content, they will stay on the website where they find this feed.

    I hope this clears up a bit..
