Promoting high-commission commercial/industrial products

I've been watching a bunch of promotional videos for internet marketing prodicts lately.

One of them highlighted the benefits of working with commercial and industrial products as they can generate high commissions - hundreds of dollars per sale - and attract less competition. (Well, how many guru products target commercial/industrial markets compared to those that target consumer products via Clickbank, Amazon or CPA?)

It caught my eye so I went back through my videos to try and find it - and I couldn't

Has anybody else seen this video or can recommend how to get at these markers

Many Thanks, Vince

I have yet to see what you are talking about, but I would be interested in finding out more if/when you find what you are looking for. I use to be in sales for GE and sold some commerical products that honestly made a killing...if you could successfully implement that type of sales and marketing to the internet and get the right traffic to your site, you could be onto something...GL

I know there was one product from Andrew Hansen and that had glowing reviews from fellow Warriors. I am not sure if that is what you are talking about, but it may be worth looking into it.

Keep in mind the higher commission products in the commercial/industrial markets may consume months of marketing and involve doing group presentations to key decision makers.

There are in fact many more opportunities available by visiting the websites directly for example in telecommunications, medical equipment, machinery, and specialty industrial supplies.

Most of the really big money is overlooked by all of the so-called "gurus". Google really is your friend - seek and you will find.

Thanks to all for the response

Google desktop has found some emails that I've had about Andrew Hansen. I have found a recent webinar. Will download, view and repost - probably early next week

I'm well aware that the majority of commercial/industrial products do require specialised marketing and sales. But I can't belive that there are not some that are relatively commoditised and where buyers will prefer to buy via the internet.

        Thanks again - Vince

Are you referring to quitmy9to5.com? They talk about promoting industrial products for high commissions.

I too was thinking you may be describing the "quit my nine to 5." There was a thread for that here. One thing is (Not unique to their offer) I simply could not add up the numbers she through out and make sense of them. I read in their "proud to offer you fine print" that the income and/or the people represented may not be the actual people/income- or something like that. So sorry to be so vague...but it was for me some lawyer boilerplate spun into marketing promo. You know the commercials where they say, "Actor Portrayals?" Anyway if you are interested find that thread...it was informative.

              All

Quit my 9 to 5 was definitely one of the videos I watched.
I'm sure I re-watched it a couple of times and couldn't see it

There are mixed reviews on this thread -
"Quit My 9 to 5 by Jen Somers and Jamie Lewis"
At least Jamie did respond in the thread.

I did watch the Andrew Hansen video on his Elite Niche product
              Seems to address similar areas...
There are ideas to try without buying his product - good sign

Look for the WSO by HPGOODBOY that he offered on 12/26/10. "How To Cash In With High Ticket Affiliate Programs". I don't know if he offers video training, but I think he does touch on commercial/industrial products as well as other high ticket items.

    Hi Vince
a bit spooky but was just about to post a thread about this very topic. I have a commercial business with high ticket items that I will be looking for affiliates to promote.
We have a Will Writing buisness and we are just putting together a package for business opportunity seekers who we would take on and train. We will be providing a total buisness in a box which will include:-
    Full technical training with exams
    Membership of the Governing body
    Full Professional Indemnity Insurance
    Full sales training
    Full support and back up
Members only website with Video training, marketing material, newsletters, sales hints and tips, success stories Etc.
    Business Stationery packs
    and more.
The price tag will be in the region of £1995 and we will be offereing 15% commission on this which will equate to approx £300 per sale.
The market in the UK for people wanting to start their own business is very receptive this opportunity as there are a lot of people being made redundant or looking to earn some extra cash.

I see this as a great opportuntity for affiliates and the only thing we need to sort out is what Affilaite tracking software to use and how to close the loop if somone buys over the phone or face to face rather than purcahsing through the website.
Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated.

    many thanks in advance
    Mark

Finding 1-3 Million Dollar 3rd party commercial items to sell on amazon is not a new discovery or method.

Good luck, but you are dealing with an item with a one day cookie. The decision to purchase will not often be made on the same day.

The person who clicked on your link probably has to get approval first and is gathering information on suppliers and prices.

The cookie has expired or the person who orders isn't the one you cookied when a purchase is made.

It does sound good though, but that is why people sell the idea of promoting these items to others instead of keeping quiet and earning those big commissions themselves.

Based on my many years of internet marketing it has always been just as easy to sell a HIGH TICKET item on-line as a small ticket item. Think $3,000 vs $30.

Both require the same amount of work and costs.

Both have pretty much the same conversions 1 out of 100 buy... as long as you have TARGETED TRAFFIC.

I'm always looking for good high ticket items to sell.... but Travel has been my most profitable for over 10 years now.

A $3000 customer is a lot easier customer too... They don't require near as much HAND HOLDING as a $30 customer... based on my experence..
