I'm just about to launch a new product on cd rom and the information guides are pdf's, i've put an adobe download link on the cd but i would much prefer to put the reader software on so anyone who hasn't got a pdf reader can easily install the software and then access the informational manuals etc. Does anyone know if this is possible?
Any help appreciated!

Your other post mentions Macs - so you are catering for a range of people (all sorts of Operating Systems) . . .

Unless you put the installation files for all combinations - it would be easier, in my opinion, to simply use the link to Adobe.

A lot of people may already have Adobe installed too

      Hi
Yeah, you are right there, i could seperate each disk into a 'PC' product & 'MAC' product but i'm hoping for ease! Don't know if that is the best way to do it, but i'm doing a 'suck it and see' test. Thanks for your imput. Oh and yeah, have you any knowledge of how to get a Mac to autoplay?

      Kind Regards

I remembered using a CD to install some software on my PC and I get an option to install Adobe PDF reader in the installation menu.

So I think you could, but you better double-check with Adobe first.
