advice on bogus list... possibly?

Hi guys,

I have just started advertising my site in all the 'free' ways I can think of as well as using rent-a-list once.

Since then I have started to have people give me their email address (on average 5 a day)

But, I have noticed that there is quite a few email addresses that are the same except with a different number.

Should I remove them or just leave it?
I am not sure what to do as I have never heard of this before so any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

But, I have noticed that there is quite a few email addresses that are the same except with a different number.
    As in 1234@gmail.com/1235@gmail.com?

Is this what you mean or do you mean different email Addresses and the same IP or same emails and different IP addresses?

Sorry I need a bit more information but it sounds a bit odd.

"Bogus" may be an exaggeration, perhaps. It sounds to me more like a case of being "of typical quality and response-rate". Call me a skepchick, but I'm afraid lowering your expectations may be appropriate, here.

Email addresses like that scream somethings not right.

I've never used a "rent a list" thingy so I couldn't comment but something's not natural and I dare say 1234@gmail.com is as unlikely to buy as 1235@gmail.com.
