Privacy Policy and Disclaimer HELP!

What do i need to do in order to put a Privacy Policy and Disclaimer in place?

    You evaluate what your website is about, what representations are being made, what information you collect, what areas you may have a legal exposure, and then address those issues so that you not only comply with the law but are better protected from anyone who may want to sue you.

    If you're just asking about the mechanics of it, it depends on your platform. If you use Wordpress, go to the Plugins page in your Dashboard and search for Easy Privacy Policy for a simple solution for a basic privacy policy page. You may be able to do the same for the Disclaimer, I'm not sure. If not, try Googling it and look for a free open source version you can use. Unless you're doing something fairly advanced, you probably only need a basic cookie cutter version of both. If you have concerns, check with a lawyer who knows about these things. The majority of us don't have being sued as even a minor concern, but that's not gonna save you from trouble if you're one of the tiny % that does face that problem.
