Is it just me, or is there no way I could work online for 4 hours and get say $20.?

Hi, I am setting up an online business and it is all good but slow, I need to get a bit of money just for some software I want, anyway that is not the question I am asking.

Apart from fiverr, which my gigs never seem to be taken, I cannot think of a way where I could work for say 1/2/4 hours and get say $5/$10/$20 in some sort of account at the end of that? I believe the one and main disadvantage of making money online.? Prove me wrong.... (please)

Tom, you could write a very good article in 2 hours, let people see the quality of your article and then start selling them for 5 to 10 dollars.

    apply for jobs at odesk.com

you can do simple tasks for people and earn $2-5 per hour worked once you are hired. Thats your best way to work for little money away from fiverr.

or try and find your own jobs at home offline cutting grass and so on to raise the money for your online ventures.

I always find it funny when people have blogs or in this case hubpage about how to make money online fast, and yet they don't know how to make money online

You could do some freelance work if writing is not a problem for you.

Also, I think that you should focus on your business and set up a system where you have your sales funnel in place so that all you need to do is put all your effort in driving targeted traffic and tweaking your site.

If you don't have a business model or system in place your doom for failure online.

Don't look for time consuming "Jobs" online. But if you really need the money than yea go look for one, but if thats not necessary I'll invest my time on structuring my business model and make my cash work for me.

Tom - I'm saying this out of the utmost care and respect here.

When you have a blog about making money fast, and then come here asking how it's done, it shoots your credibility down.

It would be same thing if I had a sig file that says "gain a 10,000 member list in 5 days" and then came in asking how do I build a list?

The reason you are getting razzed about it is because people see it as slightly hypocritical. Next time, I would remove your sig file from the post before you ask a "how to make money fast" question.

There's plenty of ways to make $20 in 4 hours BUT you need to have a "business" in place to do that.

I think what you are looking for is something you can do when you don't have anything else to do. Not necessarily a business that will continue to bring you $20 every four hours, right?

The problem with that is that you haven't built up any customers. That's why if you randomly offer to write articles you probably won't get any takers. You have to setup the business first so people know you are serious about it. Otherwise you are just some random guy with no track record offering to write articles or build backlinks or whatever and there's plenty of people who have a proven track record to buy that stuff from already.

Why not try promoting products (ebooks) that offer INSTANT PAYPAL COMMISSIONS to affiliates?

You can sign up as an affiliate, start promoting and make fast cash!

Or, like others mentioned above, you can offer your services (if you have any skills to offer) on freelancing sites or right here on this forum and pull in some quick income.

You should be able to make $20 with a couple hours of work or even less depending on what you do... For instance, if you write articles as a freelancer and charge $5 per article, if you can write 4 articles in 4 hours, then you have just made $20 in 4 hours.

The methods that I use can earn you $20 for less than an hour of work...

    Best,
    Shane

Seems like you're looking for a job that pays you $5 an hour? Pretty easy, my friend, you can find jobs like that all over the place, online and offline. You can go to freelancing sites like odesk and elance, fiverr, etc. and write articles for people, that would probably be the easiest. Don't just put up a few fiverr gigs and say it can't be done, if you really want to work as a freelancer to get some guaranteed money you do certainly have to search around for it on at least a few different freelance sites, but it can be done.

You could also try just even going to mturk and making money doing completely mindless things like clicking on links for people, there and probably get to $5 an hour. I say probably as some of the tasks pay you like, a penny, for clicking a link, and some of them 5 cents, just for easy, easy tasks.
