Getting Reviews, How Do I Go About It?

Hey guys,

I am thinking about running my first WSO but would like to see what people think think of it first.

Rather than just wasting $40 on something that people won't want. It is related to keywords.

Is there a section anywhere to ask for reviews, I didn't really want to randomly pm people asking them to review it (seems kind of spammy)

Thanks in advance,
Stephen.

You can offer review copies, at the bottom of your WSO, then for example, the first 5 warriors will give you a review, in exchange for your total product, or a reduced price.

      Hi,

Thank's for the reply, I wanted people to review it befor listing the wso to see if they thought it was good enough.

Oh, you want to test it before you actually buy the WSO, I see.

Maybe this thread will help you, I found it in the Warrior Joint Ventures section.

      Hope this helps.
      Jake.

The best way for honest feedback that will tell you if it's ready for primetime or not is to ask people you actually know. PM or email a few people here that you have interacted with and feel would give you helpful feedback.

If you don't know anyone yet or just don't feel comfortable with that, you can post it in the Internet Marketing Product Reviews & Ratings section. Keep in mind that when you offer review copies to just anybody, there will be a certain percentage who simply want a freebie. There will also be a number of brand new people that while their feedback might help, they won't be particularly useful posted as social proof. Most people prefer to see feedback posted from people that they know and trust over a random stranger.

    Good luck,
    Tina

      Thank's for the help,

Unfortunately I don't really know many people on here, might just go for it and list it any way. I think a lot of people would be interested (although I know thinking can be a huge mistake).

Probably do what one of the previous posters stated and offer a few reviews on the wso listing instead.

Also if you could offer advice, is listing a was simply like posting any normal thread, or are there any special instructions/

      Thanks again,
      Stephen.

The best tip I can give you is to use Google Chrome to post the WSO and to do any updates to it as you go. Any other browser I've used (IE and FF) makes formatting a pain in the rear.

Read the rules first but I'm sure you're fine. Then keep in mind that once you hit post, it will disappear until it gets approved so you won't be able to fix any errors until you pay and post it.

The cool thing is that once you pay, the post goes live within a minute or two, so you can time it for when you want it to go live. I always try to make sure that there are a good number of viewers on that section when I make it go live. Not sure it makes a difference but figure it can't hurt, right?

Surely there's some folks you have exchanged PMs with or something?

How about your friends outside the forum, etc.? Reviews don't have to be only from warriors - sure, it makes it easier for someone here to follow-up on them, but you can do testimonials from our non-warrior population too.

I've never done a WSO, but I have made several information products. The first one I ever did I launched the site without any reviews on the sales page, and sales still started to come in. Once a few people have bought your product, politely email them and ask for their opinion, then ask if you can use what they said as a review on your site.

In other words, especially for a WSO, I would say just try it out. If no one buys then you know your copy is no good, or there isn't a demand for the product.
