Does Anyone Know A Site That Helps You Find Related Websites?

Sometimes I com across websites that have such a good platform that I want to find other sites like it. The problem is that I do not know how to do this in Google. Does anyone know how to go about finding websites that are related to a particular website you might find?

You can check my blog entry Top List of SEO Tools for webmasters and link builders

There is a site called "touchgraph" which gives a very nice, graphical view of what google sees as related sites.

Touchgraph is simply spoken plain amazing. What it does: It shows graphically which sites are related afer you entered an URL or keyword. It basically visualizes how Google sees the web and which sites it deems relevant for a keyword.

Google offers a link for "related sites", but they call it "Similar". For most search results, you will see this option.

If it is the platform you seek, you can search for things like "Powered by WordPress".

Google would be my way, I must say ...

You can also look at their backlinks, using a backlink-checking site, and sites to which they're linking.

(Sometimes their backlinks will be helpful, if they've done good SEO. Sometimes all their backlinks will be non-context-relevant ones, but those sites aren't typically ranking very well, and one's therefore perhaps less likely to have found them in the first place?).
