Hi Fellow Warriors,

I just put up a new squeeze page for my Clickbank Product: CB-Professor

CBProfessor

When I send traffic to it from Email, it converts really well, but Google is giving me all sorts of headaches.

Does anyone know of a PPC guy who specializes in these types of offers? I would be excited to talk to him/her

You can email me direct: michaelzenga@hotmail.com

Thanks,

Mike

    Mike,

What kind of problems is Google Adwords giving you?

Google thinks your site is too thin even though it's not
a complete squeeze page. But the home page looks
    exactly like a squeeze page.

You don't really have any content on the site other
than the 5 mistakes thing. But there really isn't much
    to them - content wise.

Here is exactly how you can fix this if you want to use
adwords. Take a cue from Eben Pagan (David DeAngelo)
    Double Your Dating.

Check out his layout, home (landing page) and use of real
    content.

He's right at the top with an adwords/ppc ad.

PS - In case you did not know, Google stopped liking ppc ads to
squeeze pages a while ago. Last year, maybe? Dunno.

      Ken,

That is a good point, and I do know something about Quality Score. That is the reason I put 10 outgoing links on the squeeze page to give it some depth.

I wonder what Google wants to see, or if they are so spooked by the Make Money Niche that they don't want to send traffic.

BTW, in my course on Clickbank, I advise the student that Google is a great way to get traffic but they need a Google expert, as the criteria is a moving target and I advised them to use Elance.com or the WF to find people so I am trying to practice what I preach..

      Thanks,

      Mike

I have done a lot with adwords but not in several years. I never promoted
        make money/IM related products, though.

I have read a lot of things about your particular situation. I do not know what
they really want other than what I mentioned, above. I've read things like they
do not like to see CB products promoted via adwords, or products related to IM
or make money online. But that is just hearsay based on the experiences of ppc
        advertisers.

I can tell you that outgoing links, alone, will not confer 'non thin' status to a
        landing page.

When I wrote my first post, I actually forgot about the whole CB/make money
(possible) issue with G and adwords.

So this is a tough one. I'd say the only way to find out for sure is to redesign
your current site to one that has more relevant content on it - structured similar
to the example I provided above.

Right now I really do feel that the 'home page' is really hurting you, and that is
aside from any questions about whether or not G dislikes CB/IM products.

It all depends on how badly you want to promote via adwords. If you do, then you
have to change something. But there's always Bing and FB plus secondary engines
        with ppc platforms.
